I want to share my experience with Lisa Chmelecki as a guardian ad litem. I am very concerned about her lack of professionalism. She very much seems to favor females and repeatedly ignore crucial evidence presented to her. I felt as though she preferred to make gut decisions with an heir of arrogance and ignore hard evidence rather than be an unbiased objective advocate for children and their wellbeing. I would encourage anyone negatively involved with her to request an investigation into her conduct. Our children deserve better. Since when is a lawyer the most qualified person in child well being?
For individuals and families in Portland, Maine, and the surrounding areas navigating legal challenges, finding a local and capable law firm is a crucial step. When searching within the "Lawyers Near Me" category, RDCP Law, situated at 97A Exchange St Suite 404, Portland, ME 04101, USA, presents a legal practice operating from a professional building in the city's downtown area. The location on Exchange Street suggests accessibility and integration within Portland's legal and business community, likely providing a professional setting for client meetings and legal proceedings.
RDCP Law appears to be a law firm operating under this name, potentially comprising one or more attorneys and support staff. The suite number (# 404) indicates that the office is located within a larger professional building, a common arrangement for law firms in urban environments. Based on the available reviews, attorney Lisa Chmelecki and paralegal Melanie are associated with RDCP Law. The reviews offer contrasting perspectives on Lisa Chmelecki's professional conduct, particularly in her role as a guardian ad litem, while also highlighting positive experiences in family law matters.
One review expresses significant concerns about Lisa Chmelecki's professionalism as a guardian ad litem, alleging a bias towards females and a disregard for crucial evidence. The reviewer felt that decisions were based on "gut feelings" and an "heir of arrogance" rather than an objective assessment of the children's best interests. This individual strongly encourages anyone with similar negative experiences to request an investigation into her conduct, raising serious questions about her approach in child well-being cases.
In contrast, another review offers a highly positive experience working with Lisa Chmelecki and her paralegal Melanie in the context of family law. This reviewer found both Lisa and Melanie to be "amazing to work with," describing them as "welcoming, organized," and immediately putting the client at ease during their first meeting. Lisa Chmelecki is described as "very knowledgeable," and the communication is lauded as "top notch," with the client never feeling uninformed. This positive experience suggests competence and a supportive approach in family law matters, leading to a "breeze" in what was anticipated to be a difficult situation.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it is essential for potential clients to weigh both perspectives. The negative review raises serious concerns about Lisa Chmelecki's objectivity and methodology in her role as a guardian ad litem, which is a specific function appointed by the court to represent the best interests of a child in legal proceedings, often involving custody disputes or abuse/neglect cases. The positive review, on the other hand, highlights positive attributes such as being welcoming, organized, knowledgeable, and communicative in the broader context of family law.
Based on the available information, potential areas of legal service offered by RDCP Law, possibly involving Lisa Chmelecki, may include:
Family Law: The positive review specifically praises Lisa Chmelecki and Melanie's work in family law, suggesting that this is a practice area for the firm. This could encompass divorce, child custody and support, adoption, and other legal issues related to family matters. The reviewer's experience indicates a welcoming and organized approach in this field.
Guardian ad Litem Services: Lisa Chmelecki appears to serve as a guardian ad litem, a role appointed by the court to investigate and report on the best interests of children in certain legal cases. However, the strongly negative review raises significant concerns about her conduct in this specific capacity.
Given the limited scope of information beyond these reviews, it is difficult to ascertain other potential practice areas of RDCP Law. The firm may handle other types of civil litigation, real estate law, estate planning, or business law. Determining the full range of their services would require direct inquiry to the firm.
The contrasting reviews present a complex picture of RDCP Law, particularly regarding Lisa Chmelecki's professional conduct. While one client experienced excellent service in a family law matter, another expressed serious concerns about her objectivity and methodology as a guardian ad litem. This highlights the importance of potential clients considering the specific nature of their legal needs and the role of the attorney in their case. If the legal matter involves family law beyond guardian ad litem services, the positive review suggests a welcoming and organized firm. However, if the case involves guardian ad litem services by Lisa Chmelecki, the negative review warrants careful consideration and potentially further investigation by the prospective client.
Regarding promotional information, the available reviews do not contain any specific promotional offers. The positive feedback in the family law context could be considered an indirect promotion of their services in that area, highlighting positive client experiences with Lisa Chmelecki and Melanie. However, the negative review serves as a cautionary note regarding guardian ad litem services.
For individuals seeking legal services in Portland, Maine, and considering RDCP Law, it is strongly recommended to contact the firm directly at (207) 358-4909 or +1 207-358-4909 to inquire about their specific areas of practice, the attorneys involved in those areas, and to discuss your individual legal needs. Asking about the firm's approach to client service and seeking to understand the different perspectives presented in the reviews would be a prudent step in making an informed decision about legal representation. The contrasting experiences suggest that while some clients have found positive support at RDCP Law, particularly in family law matters, others have raised serious concerns about specific aspects of their services, notably the conduct of Lisa Chmelecki as a guardian ad litem.

Sep 30, 2024 · JohnLisa and her paralegal Melanie were amazing to work with. Family law can be intimidating, but they both were so welcoming, organized and immediately put me at ease with our first meeting. Lisa was very knowledgeable and communication was top notch. I was never left in the dark with unanswered question and I felt completely comforted going into what I imagined would be a messy situation, but having these two on my side it ended up being a breeze.
Jun 09, 2024 · Justine RepoltThe experience we had with Lisa Chmelecki was horrible. She by no means has the best interest in the child and what is best for them. Watch out if she is friends with the other lawyer. She is a very Dishonest person. It was unbelievable to watch her lie in a court room And have zero regards for the child.
Sep 17, 2024 · Michelle LongI was fortunate enough to have Mehron in my corner. Mehron is not only incredibly good at what he does and a true professional, he is also kind and caring. I am forever grateful for his counsel and advice. I highly recommend him and the RDCP Law team.
