This is a scam. All they want is your money when you’re going through it. The name does not speak for itself. They tell you what you want to hear and say how good things are going. When court is around the corner your hearing the complete opposite of what was said days prior. On my last court date, my attorney was not ready so I had to pay 5hrs of court because we had a delay thanks to him. Court is all done and I got the last bill so I thought. 2 weeks later I get another bill which I paid and then followed by another and I questioned it, ever heard back, they literally are the worst firm. Today I’m paying another bill because I reached out that I don’t need them. No need for them where they want to charge 700$ just to tell the opposing party your adress.

Their office is located at 3760 12th St, Riverside, CA 92501, USA, offering a local presence for clients in the area.

Regarding the environment of Reel Fathers Rights APC, typical law firms strive to maintain a professional and confidential setting. While specific details about the interior design or architectural aspects are not publicly available, it is customary for such offices to feature a reception area, private consultation rooms conducive to sensitive discussions, and an organized workspace. The location on 12th Street, a common address for commercial or professional establishments in Riverside, suggests a standard office environment designed for legal consultations and operations.

Reel Fathers Rights APC primarily focuses on family law, with a stated emphasis on advocating for fathers' rights. Their services would typically include, but are not limited to, the following areas within family law:

  • Child Support: Assisting clients with the establishment, modification, and enforcement of child support orders.

  • Divorce/Dissolution of Marriage: Guiding individuals through the process of marital dissolution, including property division, spousal support, and related matters.

  • Paternity: Establishing legal paternity to secure parental rights and responsibilities.

  • Domestic Violence Restraining Orders: Representing clients in matters involving domestic violence and protective orders, whether seeking or defending against them.

The firm's name itself, "Reel Fathers Rights APC," clearly communicates its specialized focus and commitment to advocating for the rights and interests of fathers in family law proceedings. This specialization is a key aspect of their service offering.

The features of Reel Fathers Rights APC, as reported by clients, present a stark contrast in experiences. One review offers a highly critical perspective, alleging that the firm is a "scam" and that "All they want is your money when you’re going through it." This client claims that the firm provides misleading information, telling them "what you want to hear" initially, only for the narrative to change dramatically closer to court dates. Specific concerns include an attorney allegedly being unprepared for court, leading to a delay and an unexpected "5hrs of court" payment. Furthermore, this client reports receiving unexpected and unexplained bills even after the case concluded, and a lack of response when questioning these charges. The client cites a charge of "$700 just to tell the opposing party your address" as an example of perceived excessive billing, ultimately labeling them "the worst firm" and stating they "don’t need them."

In sharp contrast, another review specifically praises an individual named Kim from the firm, stating she "provided absolutely fantastic service!" This client describes Kim as "incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience smooth and pleasant." The review highlights Kim's "genuinely kind and helpful" nature and expresses that "You can tell she truly cares about her customers." This client "Highly recommend working with Kim."

These divergent reviews indicate that client experiences with Reel Fathers Rights APC can vary significantly. While one client expresses deep dissatisfaction with the firm's overall service, communication, preparedness, and billing practices, another client highlights a positive interaction with a specific staff member, praising their customer service and attentiveness. This contrast suggests potential inconsistencies in client service or differing experiences depending on the specific attorneys or support staff involved in a case, as well as the nature and outcome of the legal matter itself.

For promotional information, Reel Fathers Rights APC's firm name directly promotes its specialized focus on fathers' rights within family law. This targeted branding helps attract clients specifically seeking advocacy in this area. Their presence in the "Lawyers Near Me" category on various platforms ensures visibility for local users searching for family law attorneys. The provision of accessible phone and mobile phone numbers, along with their physical address, serves as fundamental promotional elements, enabling direct contact. Positive individual testimonials, such as the one praising Kim, might be highlighted in the firm's marketing materials, if available publicly, to showcase their commitment to customer service. However, potential clients performing due diligence would also encounter the highly negative feedback, which could influence their decision-making. Firms in this space often engage in online content creation, such as blogs or articles on fathers' rights, to further establish their expertise and reach potential clients.

In conclusion, Reel Fathers Rights APC is a Riverside-based law firm specializing in family law, with a particular focus on representing fathers. While the firm clearly states its area of expertise and offers direct contact channels, client experiences, as reflected in reviews, present a mixed picture. Some clients report significant dissatisfaction concerning communication, case management, and billing, while others highlight positive interactions with specific staff members regarding customer service. Prospective clients considering Reel Fathers Rights APC should carefully weigh these varied perspectives and conduct thorough inquiries to ensure the firm's approach aligns with their expectations and needs for their family law matter.

When we were looking for a lawyer for my husband, we had high hopes for this law firm. Men are a vulnerable population when it comes to custody and child support. Often, they feel unseen or unheard. So, with this firm being called Reel Fathers Rights, we were hopeful we would have an advocate for us. I mean it's in the name, right? The first call they gain your trust by talking you up, easing your fears by saying "we can help you because we deal with this all the time." Once they get their retainer of $5000, its crickets. The only person you will hear from is the woman who calls to get payments. The woman who collects payment always says, "I am sorry you feel this way, I will let your team know you wish to speak to them." Then again, nothing. When you call back again, she won't remember the reason you call, and the cycle continues. Oh, but they will always remember to charge you for those calls. They do not go over receipts with you with all of the charges. Most of it is random gibberish that you don't understand, but it's expensive gibberish. Our lawyer quit halfway through, which according to other law firms we called, told us straight up that this is a problem they've heard for a while with them. Also, team members are always changing, they charge more than most law firms in the area, other law firms who go up against them in court say they never have their paperwork done on time or at all for their clients, so the court hearings are held off or postponed a lot. Which I'm sure costs their clients extra money because they can charge them for it. They asked us for paperwork multiple times, even though we turned it in. We finally talked to a lawyer who gave us free advice because he dealt with them in court and I'm sure felt sorry for us. He told us that we could have saved the $15,000 we already spent by doing all of the paperwork ourselves because the Judges almost always go off of what the city child support office comes up with per month. It is almost always non-negotiable, which at the end of the day was true. When our court date came up they never called us to prep us for anything, which the lawyer we consulted said was highly unusual. We ended up firing them before we went to court and they charged us $500 just to do that!! On top of everything else, the lawyer still wanted to show up but asked for my husband's W-2!!! Which we turned into them over 6 months ago!!! They also got our paperwork wrong, and my husband got screwed out of a day every week where he used to see his kids. We tried calling multiple times for them to fix this and they never returned our phone calls. Instead, they used up whatever was left in our retainer for some reason, we already had a court date set so for the life of me I can't understand what that money was used for. They refused to hear our issue until we put more money in the retainer. But of course, they never stopped charging us!!! In the world were living in today. Where the rich are ripping off working-class people, this is more than unacceptable. For them to use a vulnerable population like they do, to scam people out of money like this is atrocious. My husband and I work very hard for the money we spent to pay these people and for us to realize at the end of the day that it made absolutely no difference??? That we could have done this all ourselves for way less money??? They should be ashamed of themselves. Go to other law offices in your area that specialize in child custody and child support payments. These people prey off of hard-working people. I'm never one to leave reviews but this experience has pretty much scarred my husband and I, during an already stressful time. This place has a reputation in the law office world for being flaky, non-communicative, expensive, disorganized, with a high turnover rate. The fact that the reputation carries like this should warn everyone what kind of place this is. They may make it all sound good when you call for advice but if you go any further than that, be prepared to be left on your own, when you're vulnerable.

I just want to start this review by saying if I could give Kim 10 stars I would. She was extremely helpful and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this place and especially Kim as she went above and beyond for me.

If you’re searching for a family law attorney to represent you and your situation, do not go here. One attorney in particular was referred to me by a family member, however, they changed my attorney without even notifying me to another attorney I didn’t know or didn’t know my situation. During The hearing, the attorney did not know anything about my declaration or exhibits which frustrated the judge. Further, you have to create a trust meaning you have to give them a large retaining fee before you even can speak (consult) with one of their attorneys. In the meantime, they suck your trust dry. Shipping away and shipping away until you get below a certain amount. Then they demand that you give more money until everything is resolved. They continue to take money from your trust until it’s gone without notifying you. This firm cares about money. They do not care about your case. There are plenty of family law attorneys out there that will hear you and give you a free consultation before you decide to retain them. Then bill you before they decide to just continue to take money from The amount of money you gave them. This is not a good firm!!! Highly expensive and they don’t care about you.
