You are better off defending yourself than going with this attorney. If I could have put no stars I would have done that. Completely unreliable, Unprofessional, Unorganized, and underprepared on my divorce case that will impact me for a lifetime. Completely unacceptable work and I wouldn’t use them.
For individuals in Beaverton, Oregon, seeking legal representation under the category "Lawyers Near Me," Rugged Law, located at 4550 SW Hall Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005, USA, presents a local legal practice. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences with Rugged Law appear to be varied, with feedback ranging from significant dissatisfaction to expressions of hope and renewed faith in the pursuit of justice, particularly in the context of divorce proceedings.
One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by Rugged Law, advising potential clients that they would be "better off defending yourself" than hiring this attorney. The reviewer goes on to describe their experience as "Completely unreliable, Unprofessional, Unorganized, and underprepared" in a divorce case with lifelong implications. They conclude by stating that the work was "Completely unacceptable" and that they would not recommend using their services. This review raises serious concerns about the firm's handling of at least one divorce case, citing issues with reliability, professionalism, organization, and preparedness.
In stark contrast, another review offers a more positive perspective, focusing on an attorney named Caroline at Rugged Law. This client describes enduring a "nightmare of a divorce" for five years, leading to a loss of faith in the possibility of justice. However, finding Caroline reportedly changed this outlook. The reviewer states that Caroline's discerning nature was a key factor in their decision to hire her. Furthermore, they mention that Caroline's faith in God has renewed their own faith and given them hope for a just outcome. While acknowledging uncertainty about the final resolution of their case, the reviewer expresses hope for the first time in a long time that justice will ultimately prevail. This review highlights Caroline's perceived discernment, her ability to instill hope, and the personal connection she seems to establish with her clients, particularly in emotionally challenging family law cases.
The significant divergence in these two reviews suggests that potential clients may have different experiences with Rugged Law, possibly depending on the specific attorney they work with or the nature of their legal case. The negative review raises red flags regarding the firm's overall professionalism and case management in at least one instance, while the positive review indicates that at least one attorney within the practice, Caroline, is capable of providing support, instilling hope, and being perceived as a strong advocate, particularly in divorce cases.

Features of Rugged Law, as perceived through the lens of these reviews, present a mixed picture:
The promotional information gleaned from these reviews is also contradictory. However, potential clients should weigh both perspectives carefully.
For local users in Beaverton seeking "Lawyers Near Me," Rugged Law, located at 4550 SW Hall Blvd, offers legal services. However, the available reviews present a cautionary tale alongside a glimmer of hope associated with a specific attorney, Caroline. Potential clients considering Rugged Law should be aware of the negative experience reported by one reviewer and the positive, hope-instilling experience described by another. It would be prudent to seek more information about the firm's attorneys, their specific areas of expertise, and potentially request consultations with the specific attorney they would be working with to gauge their suitability and experience.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Rugged Law's capabilities and client experiences, prospective clients may wish to consult other online review platforms, if available, or seek direct referrals from trusted sources within the Beaverton community. Given the significant disparity in the provided feedback, conducting thorough due diligence is particularly important when considering engaging Rugged Law for legal representation.
In conclusion, Rugged Law in Beaverton has received sharply contrasting reviews. One client reported significant issues with reliability, professionalism, organization, and preparedness in a divorce case, strongly advising against using the firm. Conversely, another client expressed hope and renewed faith in the justice system after working with an attorney named Caroline, praising her discernment and supportive approach in a long-standing divorce. Potential clients should carefully consider these differing perspectives and conduct further research to make an informed decision about their legal representation.

Mar 14, 2025 · William HaroldAfter 5 years of a nightmare of a divorce, I'd lost a lot of faith that justice would ever happen. Then I found Caroline. What sold me on her was how discerning she was. Her faith in god has renewed my own and given me hope. I don't know how all this will end but for the first time in a long time, I have hope that justice will prevail in the end.

Aug 23, 2024 · Alondra LopezFound Caroline via the legal match website, as i was looking for a aggressive lawyer to take over my international abduction case. The issues that i need help with were clearly detailed with what has happened, and was happen since the mother was found in Oregon with a default order granted. Caroline responded, and i spoke with her regarding the warrants and orders in Ecuador that take precedence over oregon law. Back in march 2024 i found out a day for there was a status quo hearing, that Caroline never once informed me about nor did i ever see any documents for. Luckly, I had a friend in Oregon go on the court website to look the case up for me. As this site is only available in the USA as I live in Canada. No documents that i supplied Caroline with were ever supplied to the courts nor were they aware of all the Court Orders in Ecuador, and Amber Alert for my Son. The status quo hearing did not go will, with Caroline very ill prepared, and having no idea of the case. This after having two months to review all the documents that had been sent to her office. I have now been trying to get Caroline to send me invoices for work done, and question why nothing i had requested was done, nor acted upon. As I have document from the court house, Oregon Child Support, and the ex's lawyer. To date i have no idea were my son is, I do know that a portland Doctor is claiming to be the father, and my son is listed as a hispanic child, when he is clearly a Canadian / USA. If you have appointments with Caroline, good luck getting though, or even a return on your call. The two times i did speak to her i was asked to call back in 20 mins. Then when getting though, she rushes to get you off the phone. Long story short, Caroline please return my retainer, or send me a detailed invoice after 8 months of never hearing from you. You help a child lose his choice to know his family, as the mother has acquired a passport for him under false name.
