Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your resource for connecting with legal professionals in your local area. Today, we provide an overview of Russell & Herrera PC, a law firm located at 201 Swanton Way, Decatur, GA 30030, USA. It is crucial to note that the available online reviews regarding this firm raise significant concerns about their services, particularly in the areas of fiduciary duties and conservatorship. This introduction aims to present an objective summary based solely on the provided customer feedback.
Russell & Herrera PC operates in Decatur, Georgia, and can be reached at (404) 378-7200 or via mobile phone at +1 404-378-7200. The two customer reviews available offer critical perspectives on specific aspects of their legal practice. These reviews do not provide a comprehensive overview of all services offered but focus on experiences related to fiduciary services and conservatorship.
One review expresses dissatisfaction with the handling of what appears to be a real estate-related matter within fiduciary services. The reviewer states that a proper title examination was not conducted. They emphasize the importance of a title exam to ascertain property ownership, including details such as LLC names and property transfer taxes, information they believe is essential and typically obtained from the Department of Revenue and the IRS. The reviewer concludes by stating that without this information, one cannot definitively know who owns a property. This suggests a concern regarding the thoroughness and accuracy of the firm's due diligence in fiduciary matters involving real estate.
The second review is highly critical of a specific individual at the firm, Ann Herrera, in her capacity as a conservator. The reviewer describes her as "one of the worst conservators," alleging a lack of assistance to the client and a perceived unwillingness to communicate with parties other than the probate judge. The review goes further, making serious accusations of corruption within Dekalb County government, involving both Ms. Herrera and the probate judge. The reviewer strongly advises against any dealings with Ms. Herrera and claims to have unsuccessfully petitioned the court for her removal, alleging that she is attempting to sell property inappropriately and labeling her as a "thief." This review raises severe concerns about the handling of conservatorship cases by Ms. Herrera and the firm.
Given these negative reviews, it is challenging to describe the typical environment of Russell & Herrera PC positively based solely on this feedback. The accusations of a lack of due diligence in fiduciary services and the serious allegations of misconduct and lack of client care in conservatorship matters paint a concerning picture. Potential clients may infer an environment where thoroughness and client advocacy are questionable, at least in these specific areas highlighted by the reviewers.
Regarding the services offered by Russell & Herrera PC, the reviews specifically mention fiduciary services, particularly those involving real estate and title examinations, as well as conservatorship. However, the negative experiences shared do not provide a positive description of the quality or reliability of these services. The lack of a proper title exam, as alleged in one review, suggests a potential deficiency in their real estate-related fiduciary services. The accusations of neglect and potential malfeasance in the conservatorship case, as described in the other review, raise significant doubts about their competence and ethical standards in this area.
The features that can be inferred from these reviews are predominantly negative. One potential feature, based on the first review, might be involvement in fiduciary services related to property. However, the alleged lack of a proper title exam detracts significantly from any positive characterization. The second review suggests that Ann Herrera acts as a conservator, but the description provided is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on a lack of help for the client, poor communication, and alleged unethical behavior.
There is no promotional information whatsoever provided in these reviews. Therefore, we cannot comment on any special offers, consultation fees, or other promotional aspects of Russell & Herrera PC.
For local users in Decatur, GA, searching for "Lawyers Near Me," Russell & Herrera PC is located on Swanton Way. Potential clients are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent research before engaging this firm for these or potentially any other legal services. The serious nature of the allegations in the reviews, particularly the accusations of theft and corruption in the context of conservatorship, should not be taken lightly. While these are individual accounts, they serve as critical red flags for anyone considering Russell & Herrera PC for their legal needs, especially in the areas mentioned.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Russell & Herrera PC in Decatur, GA, present significant negative feedback concerning their fiduciary services related to real estate and their handling of conservatorship cases. Potential clients searching for "Lawyers Near Me" should be aware of these serious allegations and are strongly advised to conduct extensive due diligence and seek alternative legal counsel unless they can independently verify the firm's current practices and reputation to their satisfaction.
