Sonica does not deserve 1 star. It has taken me over 2 years to even write this. When Sonica was hired, I had custody of my daughter since birth (then age 11). I told my daughter's father we were moving out of state and he filed for custody 3 days later. My lawyer highly recommend Sonica and even convinced me to pay the full down payment and 50%of cost. During our case, Sonica was given 26 police reports on him that spanned a 10 year period and some were even during our trial! They included physical abuse towards me, his step mom, his mother, ex girl friend, current girl friend, random guy he beat up on the street, drug charges, and 10 hospital stays, 7 of which were Baker Acts from a judge. Sonica was given 911 reports and trespassing orders signed by his girlfriend WHILE we were going through the courts and just months before her decision. She had bank statements with ABC purchases on them which he claimed weren't his. She had videos of him attacking me in my own front yard. Photos from him graffiting my home, testimony from his own family of years of abuse! Years of text with him being verbally abusive. I had zero police presence, not even as much of a speeding ticket. Had my daughter every day of her life, never missed 1 field trip or parent teacher conference. Sonica's report stated my daughter and I had no emotional connection and she would be better staying in Florida with father. In this 2 years, he has now officially disobeyed every clause written in our agreement. I would write more on what my daughter has been through but if dad reads this, she will be the one getting punished. Every night when I wake up at 3 am I say a prayer that Sonica wakes up too and wonders how my daughter is doing. I have called Sonica's office several times over the past 2 years and asked for a reason, just looking for clarity because her reports has ZERO mention of any of the abuse or any of the police records. I have no gotten a response. As if this wasn't enough slap in the face, when my case was over, my ex admitted that his lawyer worked for Sonica as an intern after she graduated. She is a horrible attorney guardian ad litem and person. The kickbacks she is surely getting to write her false reports need to be investigated.

Her interests lie in the thousands of dollars in fees she collects and men...without regard to what the situation truly is. Thank you SO much Sonica for the disaster you perpetuated in my children's lives. We will NEVER forget you.

Her loyalties and interests appear to be with any men that she comes across. Extremely unprofessional behavior, missed appointments, perjury within her report and in open court.
