Absolutely dreadful. Every email we sent took over a week (and multiple follow ups) to hear back. The communication was not only dilatory, but bordered on uncouth. We specifically closed at 9 AM to have the funds wired at 11 AM for our back-to-back purchase - after confirming this plan, and their ability to do so, Sweeney did not wire the funds until almost 4 PM. Also, outside of issues with delayed email response, every time we called in, regardless of the time of day, we were told our contact was out to lunch and unavailable. They also transposed figures on a payoff, requiring us to pay more funds after closing to close out the account. Mistakes happen, but what upset me was that, after the weeks of extremely delayed responses from them, they bombarded us with messages to respond to them immediately regarding their error. Completely unprofessional in all aspects of the transaction.

I recently hired Sweeney and Sweeney to draft some documents for a shared well. They came highly recommended from a realtor, and I was definitely very pleased with the experience. I would give them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in communication, legal knowledge, quality of work, customer service, and fair pricing. S & S was also able to clear up a legal technicality issue that had been holding up a real estate transaction. To sum that up....they were able to clear up an issue that had been back and forth for 3 months with a 15 minute phone call. I would definitely hire this firm again, and I don't hesitate to recommend them to you.

I would recommend you DO NOT USE Sweeney Title Service. I recently sold a 5 acre lot. Sweeney Title Service was selected by the buyers to complete the closing on the property. My current property title included the 5 acre lot along with two additional lots. Our house is located on the two additional lots. At closing, my wife and I thought we signed a new deed transferring the 5 acres lot to the new owners. A few weeks after the closing, I contacted Sweeney asking for a copy of my new deed. I was expecting an updated deed which showed our ownership of the remaining two lots. The representative at Sweeney stated she would look into it and sent me a copy of the deed. Unfortunately, about a week later I was sent an email stating a mistake was made with the deed. Apparently the new deed was not properly formatted and we signed over not only the 5 acre lot but ALL our property. The email stated she did not realize the 5 acre lot was part of a deed including the other two lots. We would need to have the new owners sign back our property. You can imagine the anxiety this situation caused my wife and I. Legally, we no longer owned our wonderful house and land. Sweeney stated they would contact the new owners. Fortunately, the wonderful new owners were also upset by this situation and worked with their real estate agent to get a properly formatted deed signed. During this process, the representative at Sweeney never returned my calls. She only responded to a few early emails and my first call after the original email was sent. Sweeney Title never contacted us to apologize for the sleepless week they put us through. At no time did Sweeney Title see any urgency to correct their mistake. If not for the proactive real estate agent, I wonder how long this would have taken to correct.
