I hired them to do a simple and clean divorce. No child support, alimony or negative claims. They apparently hire new attorneys for this that's why you get a cheaper rate, which is not a problem in this situation. The problem is every time I met with one of their attorneys weeks later they left for a better job. This went on for three different attorneys. Each time I had to tell the story all over again. Then right before the court date I couldn't get a call back from my attorney. The Justice Cafe person would tell me they will have someone call me and no one did. I had to escalate the matter to Manely firm to get someone to call me back. Then Jill Pope calls me back and had the nerve to say she tried to call me over the weekend. NOTTT! I couldn't believe she tried to tell me that. Anyway we go to court and when we met she had a very standoffish attitude like she rather be somewhere else. So we go to arbitration, their is my ex wife, her attorney, the arbitrator and Ms Pope ALL FEMALES. It became obvious after the discussions began that Ms Pope was not representing me as she should and siding with my ex. After a lot of back and forth we came to an agreement, Both attorneys had a hand in writing the agreement, After signing it I find out that she did not put any of the protections for me that should have been put in writing. I have return to court now to rewrite the order and spend more money all over again. As the old adage goes YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR NO MATTER HOW SMALL. I would not recommend Jill Pope to fight a parking ticket. BUYER BEWARE!

The Justice Cafe Introduce

When seeking legal representation through a platform like "Lawyers Near Me," it is essential for local users in Taiwan, as well as those in the vicinity of the listed attorney, to carefully consider all available information to make informed decisions. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of The Justice Cafe, located at 128 S Clayton St, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, USA, based on the single client review provided. While this law firm is based in Georgia, USA, local users in Taiwan may encounter this profile if seeking legal counsel for matters pertaining to U.S. law or if they have connections to individuals involved in legal cases within the United States.

It is crucial to note that the following information is derived solely from the single client review provided, which presents a critical perspective on the firm's handling of a specific legal matter – a simple and uncontested divorce. This review should be considered as one individual experience and may not represent the views of all potential clients. However, it raises significant concerns that potential clients should be aware of when considering The Justice Cafe for their legal needs.

The client review details a highly negative experience with The Justice Cafe, specifically concerning a seemingly straightforward divorce case. The client initially hired the firm for a "simple and clean divorce" with no complexities such as child support, alimony, or negative claims. The client understood that they might receive a cheaper rate due to the firm apparently assigning new attorneys to such cases, which was not a problem for them in this situation. However, the core issue arose from the repeated turnover of attorneys assigned to the case. The client reports being assigned three different attorneys, with each one leaving for a better job weeks after their initial meeting. This resulted in the client having to recount their story and case details to a new attorney each time, leading to inefficiency and potential frustration.

The situation reportedly escalated as the court date approached. The client states that they were unable to get a call back from their assigned attorney. When contacting "The Justice Cafe person," they were repeatedly assured that someone would call back, but no one did. This lack of communication prompted the client to escalate the matter to the Manely firm to finally receive a return call. The attorney who eventually called back, identified as Jill Pope, allegedly claimed to have tried calling over the weekend, which the client vehemently denies. This raises concerns about the accuracy and transparency of communication from the firm.

The client's experience in court and arbitration was also negative. They describe Ms. Pope as having a "very standoffish attitude" and appearing disinterested in the proceedings. During arbitration, the client felt that Ms. Pope was not adequately representing their interests and was "siding with my ex." Following a settlement agreement that both attorneys were involved in drafting, the client discovered that Ms. Pope "did not put any of the protections for me that should have been put in writing." This critical oversight has now necessitated the client's return to court to rewrite the order, incurring additional expenses. The client concludes with a strong warning: "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR NO MATTER HOW SMALL" and explicitly states, "I would not recommend Jill Pope to fight a parking ticket. BUYER BEWARE!"

Based solely on this detailed and negative client review, there are significant concerns regarding the consistency of representation, communication practices, attorney preparedness, and the quality of advocacy provided by The Justice Cafe, specifically in this divorce case handled by attorney Jill Pope. Potential clients should carefully consider these reported issues when making decisions about legal representation.

Regarding the environment of The Justice Cafe's office in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the provided information is limited to the physical address. The single review does not offer any insight into the office setting or the overall professional atmosphere. Therefore, no objective description of the environment can be provided based on the given data. Potential clients would need to contact the firm directly or seek additional information from other sources to gain a sense of their professional environment.

Similarly, the specific legal services offered by The Justice Cafe are only mentioned in the context of a "simple and clean divorce." While it can be inferred that the firm handles family law matters, the full scope of their legal practice remains unknown based on the provided information. Local users in Taiwan seeking legal assistance for matters beyond uncontested divorce would need to seek additional information from other sources to determine if The Justice Cafe's expertise aligns with their specific needs.

The features of The Justice Cafe's legal practice, as perceived through the lens of the single negative review, raise several red flags. The reported high turnover of attorneys assigned to a case suggests potential instability or internal issues within the firm that could negatively impact client representation. The alleged lack of communication and the attorney's demeanor and perceived lack of advocacy are significant concerns. The failure to include crucial protections in a legal agreement, leading to further legal action and expense for the client, indicates a serious potential deficiency in the quality of service. Potential clients are strongly advised to carefully consider these reported features before engaging The Justice Cafe.

Given the nature of the negative feedback received, there is no positive promotional information to extract from the provided text. The review serves as a cautionary account for individuals seeking legal representation and highlights the importance of thorough research and due diligence when selecting an attorney through any platform, including "Lawyers Near Me." The client's direct warning, "BUYER BEWARE!", underscores the severity of their dissatisfaction.

For local users in Taiwan or anyone considering legal representation by The Justice Cafe, it is strongly recommended to seek additional information from various sources. This may include:

  • Contacting the firm directly: Reach out via phone at (678) 648-7577 or mobile phone at +1 678-648-7577 to inquire about their areas of practice, attorney experience, and client communication policies. It would be prudent to specifically ask about their procedures for ensuring continuity of representation and the level of experience of attorneys handling different types of cases.
  • Visiting their website: If The Justice Cafe has a website, it may provide information about their attorneys, practice areas, and client testimonials (if available elsewhere online).
  • Searching for other online reviews: Look for reviews on other platforms such as Google, Yelp, or legal directories to gain a broader perspective on past clients' experiences.
  • Checking the standing of Jill Pope and other attorneys with the Georgia Bar Association: Verify that the attorneys at The Justice Cafe are in good standing with the relevant professional regulatory body.
  • Consulting with other legal professionals: If possible, seek advice from other attorneys, especially those with experience in family law or divorce cases in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area, to get recommendations or insights on engaging legal counsel.

In conclusion, the single provided client review regarding The Justice Cafe raises significant concerns about the quality of service, communication, and representation in at least one divorce case. Potential clients should carefully consider this account and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision. The serious nature of the allegations warrants extreme caution and further investigation.
