The Law Office of Michelle E. Diaz

Michelle Diaz is a joke and Unreliable. She has no sense of loyalty to her clients. I hired Michele to work on my division of assets. If it were not for the help from my son-in-law (Who has experience in real estate), Michelle would have not known what to say or do while in court. She didn’t return phone calls or emails for days and sometimes months. At One point I left a message kindly Informing her receptionist that it would be OK if Michelle did not have the time to work on my case and I would find another lawyer. Despite all these issues I continued to work with her for years, because I am loyal. My case ended in August 2022. Unbeknownst to me, I found out that my ex daughter-in-law had hired Michele to go up against my son in their divorce. This was very early on in 2023, shortly after my case had closed. I was baffled that Michele would even consider going against my family after we had worked with her for so many years. I truly thought she respected me and my family. She had come to know my daughter and my son-in-law very well. Not to mention that she is neighbors with my nephew and her office space is on the same floor as my brother whom she is also is familiar with. My brother is the one that referred me to her. Both my nephew, brother, and son share the same last name as I. She claimed to have not put the two and two together in regards to the last name. She is a flat out liar. Florian is not a common last name. Michelle has absolutely no loyalty to her current or past clients. It brings me to believe that she is in it for the money, and not actually for the welfare of children and families. She would represent O.J. Simpson if she had the opportunity because she clearly has no issues representing people who lie, cheat, and steal from insurance companies. Michelle will do anything in her attempts to win a case, including lie about good people’s character with absolutely no proof. Her moral compass is off. I am disgusted with Michelle Diaz. She has no shame, no class, or self respect.

Michelle and her team are great! She has a CLA certification for specializing in family law, easy to work with, and has the skillset needed to deliver solid results. I had a great experience with her in 2018 after she was given the nod of approval from another divorce attorney, Ron Saxman, who had been practicing for over 30 years. I’ve been recommending Michelle to anyone who asks about an attorney who isn’t afraid to help dads since 2018 and everyone I know who has worked with her has been ecstatic. Thank you Michelle and team for all the work you do in family law court!

I hired this law office twice and my attorney was Kelly S. Kernohan, Esq. She was amazing from day 1. Not only was she attentive and responded quickly answering all my questions, her mind is sharp! I felt completely at ease having her represent me, both times. I will absolutely go to her every time.

My name is Gregory Antoine. I'm putting my name on this review which I'm writing about my experience. I was reluctant to write a review because I was taught, if you can't say anything nice at all do not say anything. As of June 24, 2023 she's my attorney and I have been her client for over a year. I paid her what's owed per the retainer and capitulated to her request when she needed my assistance. I asked her several times during the past 2 months to file paperwork to initiate the divorce and she hasn't responded nor contacted me. I emailed attorney Diaz on January 24th 2023, February 4th 2023, February 6th 2023 and after no response I wrote a letter to the Bar. I didn't want to, however she never emailed, called, or texted me back. After I filed a complaint with the bar, Attorney Diaz reached out to me in April 2023. We communicated briefly via email and she sent me some forms to complete. I told her, I have no assets so please complete and let's move forward. Remind you not, I'm not an attorney so the forms should have been done by her or her staff and deducted from the retainer. When you think a client doesn't have assets, it's an easy process. Attorney Diaz communicated to me in May 2023 and I sent several emails again on May 17th 2023, June 5th 2023, June 11th 2023, and June 13th 2023 and no response whatsoever. Shortly thereafter, I decided to text Attorney Diaz June 21st of 2023 and I still haven't received a response. I will gladly modify this review to a 5 star if she finishes what we started and file the divorce and we move forward. I had several attorneys before and I have never been treated this way in my entire life by a paid professional. I wish I had glowing things to say about Attorney Diaz however my experience has been horrendous. I told Attorney Diaz my goal is to be divorced by the end of the year 2023. I started this process with her in the year 2022. We are halfway through the year and I'm back at square root 1. I'm back where I started. I'm appalled how I have been treated as a client and it's preposterous how her lack of communication or lack there of and executing a divorce. Again, I will change this review if Attorney Diaz does what she's paid to do and execute it in a timely manner. It's been 1 year and I'm not halfway through my divorce. I'm at square root 1, back where I started.

I had Michelle Diaz as my attorney. I was fighting a 3 year custody battle against the paternal grandmother after my childrens father passed away. I hired Michelle 2 days prior to my court date, she worked hard and helped me end a 3 year court battle.( i had a different attorney, paid thousands of dollars and she never got anything done) Michelle ended this in 2 days as where my previous attorney couldn't do in 3 years. Im so grateful because she ended that pain and stress i was going through and also protecting my children from a person only wanting to cause more harm.
