Wayne was referred to me by another a few years back. Paid his fees, he suggested no issues And even referred case law that would’ve protected my case on the books since the 80s…how He knows this judge personally and plays golf with him. After paying his large retainer, it all went to crap! His representation was awful and my access to him did not exist. He offered almost no rebuttals in court and truly looked like amateur hour. I would Not recommend him for even a traffic violation. Good staff, but in the end, horrible attorney. Don’t confuse age on this one as wisdom in the court.

When assessing the features of The Law Office of V. Wayne Ward, it is important to consider both the perceived strengths and the concerns raised by clients. Mr. Ward's lengthy career certainly indicates a wealth of experience in the legal system, which for many clients, is a valuable asset. The firm also reportedly has "Good staff," suggesting that support personnel are professional and helpful in their interactions with clients.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective, particularly by addressing the direct feedback from clients. The provided reviews raise significant concerns regarding the quality of legal representation and client communication.
One client stated: "Wayne was referred to me by another a few years back. Don’t confuse age on this one as wisdom in the court." This review highlights several critical issues: a perceived lack of effective representation ("awful... amateur hour"), poor client access and communication ("access to him did not exist"), and a failure to utilize potentially relevant legal strategies or evidence. The concern about age not equating to wisdom in court is a direct commentary on the effectiveness of his legal skills.
Another client's review reinforces these concerns: "If I could give zero stars I would. Wayne was extremely condescending, didn’t care about any of the evidence we showed him regarding our case, didn’t bring it up in court, etc.. get a different lawyer!!" This review points to issues with the attorney's demeanor ("extremely condescending"), lack of attention to client-provided evidence ("didn’t care about any of the evidence," "didn’t bring it up in court"), and a general recommendation against retaining his services.
These client testimonials paint a picture of significant dissatisfaction regarding the attorney's direct handling of cases, courtroom performance, and client relations. While the length of his career is a factual point, the negative feedback suggests that this experience has not consistently translated into positive outcomes or satisfactory client experiences according to these specific reviewers.
For promotional information, a law office would typically highlight its successes, expertise, and client satisfaction. However, based on the objective information available, particularly the critical client reviews, prospective clients utilizing the "Lawyers Near Me" platform need to approach this firm with a high degree of caution. While the firm's physical address and contact details provide accessibility, the serious concerns raised by former clients regarding representation quality, responsiveness, and professional demeanor are paramount.
Given the strong negative sentiment expressed in the reviews, local users in Fort Worth who are seeking legal assistance should conduct thorough due diligence, including seeking multiple consultations and carefully vetting any attorney before retaining their services. The phone numbers (817) 332-1172 and +1 817-332-1172 remain available for contact, but potential clients should be aware of the experiences reported by others. It is always advisable for individuals to consult with several attorneys to compare approaches, communication styles, and perceived competence before making a decision, especially when serious allegations of inadequate representation are present in public feedback. This objective overview provides critical information for users of "Lawyers Near Me" to consider when evaluating The Law Office of V. Wayne Ward.

Mar 15, 2025 · Kimberly AlhafniI have been a client of Attorney Ward's for over a year. He and his professional team have been handling my complicated divorce. From the first day of meeting his staff and Attorney Ward, I felt safe and in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable and has guided me with utmost patience throughout this difficult time. I never felt pressured or obligated to sign on with him and he has been nothing but 100% honest with me about the challenges we would face. His staff is professional and extremely responsive. I respect them and value their hard work. I could not have made a better choice in hiring Attorney Ward to represent me!
May 23, 2020 · Susan TouponseNothing I was providing them was brought up at any of the hearings. I will say that Gayla was helpful, but Wayne made me feel like I didn't matter. I had proof that what my ex was testifying and filing was a total lie and he didn't produce any of it. Then when I relieved him as my attorney they wanted to come after the remaining balance on my account. Not gonna happen since he did not do anything that he said he would and I had to get a different attorney to take over.
Aug 18, 2020 · Freddie DempseyI had a horrible experience as client. Everything discussed between me and Wayne Ward ended up being empty promises. At time of mediation he bowed down to the other lawyer and ended agreeing with the other lawyer, telling us this is just the way the system works. He told us that we should just agree in mediation because a judge would not end up giving us anything we asked for....after Wayne Ward had told us numerous times that he could get us what we were asking for in mediation. We felt very blindsided and lied to. Mediation with him, was like having no lawyer representation at all.
