I would like to thank attorney Duffy for the support during this very important part of my life. I had a complicated case and she was happy to take the challenge. We had to file a motion for school, and home relocation . WE WON!!!! Attorney Duffy and Yuliana made me feel comfortable and were very supportive even after hours. They were very professional but more important they made me feel confident and comfortable. I highly recommend this law office, specifically attorney Duffy. She go above and beyond for her clients.

This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on the publicly available client reviews provided.
The office of The Prince Law Group, LLC, situated in Suite P-202 at 1010 Washington Blvd, suggests a professional environment within a commercial building in Stamford. While specific details about the firm's office ambiance, size, or facilities are not mentioned in the provided reviews, its location indicates accessibility for residents in Stamford and the surrounding areas seeking in-person legal consultations. A physical office space typically allows for private client meetings and the management of legal casework.
The provided reviews offer mixed perspectives on the services provided by The Prince Law Group, LLC. One client expresses high satisfaction, specifically thanking attorney Duffy for her support in a "complicated case" involving a motion for school and home relocation, which resulted in a successful outcome ("WE WON!!!!"). This client also praised attorney Duffy and Yuliana for making them feel comfortable, being supportive even after hours, and demonstrating professionalism while instilling confidence. The client highly recommends the law office and attorney Duffy in particular, noting that she goes "above and beyond" for her clients.
In contrast, two other clients, both named Suzanne, share significantly negative experiences with The Prince Law Group, LLC, particularly concerning divorce and family law matters. One of these reviewers recounts a lengthy and costly experience spanning three years and involving three different attorneys from the firm. This client alleges having to repeatedly retell her case details and perform "grunt work" to save on billable hours. Ultimately, she reports a significant loss in her divorce settlement, including being ordered to sell her pre-marital home and split equity with her husband, as well as sharing other assets, despite allegedly being told initially by Wendy Prince that she would not lose her home.
This reviewer expresses deep disappointment in The Prince Law Firm, citing a lack of understanding and advocacy for her case, mistakes made by the attorneys, and continued billing totaling over $60,000. She describes her experience as a "historic loss" and regrets having trusted the firm, especially as an elementary school teacher who is not wealthy. This client's experience suggests potential issues with case management, attorney turnover, communication, and the ultimate outcome of the legal representation in her divorce case.
The second reviewer named Suzanne also shares a negative experience, indicating that it took over two years to emotionally recover from her time with The Prince Law Group and that she has not yet recovered financially. This underscores the potentially significant personal and financial impact that negative legal experiences can have on clients.
Wendy Prince, presumably a principal at The Prince Law Group, is mentioned in one of the negative reviews for responding to the client's feedback online years later. The client notes that Ms. Prince's response included stating "CT laws," which the client claims was not mentioned during their initial case description. The client also raises concerns about being changed to a young attorney without notification, who allegedly made a filing error. Further issues raised include being advised to grant "professional courtesy" to opposing counsel by notifying them of a missed reply date, potentially delaying case closure and continued billing. The client also alleges being switched to another attorney without notification after the young attorney left the firm, requiring her to restart explaining her case and incurring further billing.
These negative reviews highlight potential concerns regarding communication, attorney continuity, billing practices, and the level of attention and expertise applied to individual cases within The Prince Law Group, LLC. While one positive review praises attorney Duffy, the detailed negative experiences shared by the two clients named Suzanne present a contrasting perspective that potential clients should carefully consider.
Given the conflicting feedback, local users in Stamford seeking legal services through "Lawyers Near Me" may want to approach The Prince Law Group, LLC with caution and conduct further thorough research. This research could include seeking additional reviews from other sources, inquiring specifically about the attorneys who would handle their case, and discussing billing practices and case management procedures in detail during an initial consultation.
The provided information does not include any specific promotional material or a comprehensive overview of all areas of law handled by The Prince Law Group, LLC. However, the reviews suggest experience in family law, including divorce, relocation, and child-related matters. Potential clients interested in these areas may want to inquire about the specific expertise and track record of the attorneys who handle such cases at the firm.
In conclusion, The Prince Law Group, LLC, located at 1010 Washington Blvd Suite P-202 in Stamford, CT, has received both positive and negative feedback from online reviewers. While one client expressed satisfaction with attorney Duffy's handling of a relocation case, two other clients shared significant negative experiences related to divorce proceedings, citing issues with attorney turnover, communication, billing, and case outcomes. Local users considering this firm for their legal needs should weigh these perspectives carefully and conduct thorough due diligence to ensure it aligns with their specific requirements and expectations for legal representation.

Mar 07, 2025 · mary gonzalezI received a response from Wendy Prince. She took the time to look up my case in order to argue the facts and my feelings. I wish she had cared about my case when I was paying her firm. Facts that I had not previously mentioned: When I initially described my case to her, Wendy did not state the "CT laws" as she does in her response years later. Wendy changed to my counsel to a young attorney, without asking or notifying me, who made an early mistake with a date in my filing. When the opposing counsel missed the "reply date," I was informed that it was "professional courtesy" to notify them, rather than allowing the case to be completed/closed. Case could have been closed? No more billings? Unless the date error impacted the reply date? Without notifying me that the young attorney was no longer at the firm, my counsel was changed again. Rather than accept that the change in attorneys was The Prince Law Firm issue, I had to start over with the details of my case. Why bill me again? The only way to grow and improve as a law firm with an improved reputation, is to acknowledge errors, admit lack of focus on individual cases, and to become empathetic to people in crisis rather than emptying their bank accounts. You have deepened my disappointment in The Prince Law Firm, Suzanne I wish more of us with negative experiences were able to regain strength and recover enough to share their experience so as to warn others in crisis. It has taken over two years to emotionally recover from my experience with Prince Law group. I still have not recovered financially. I contacted Wendy Prince for representation for what I had hoped to be a mediated divorce. I shared the facts candidly with Wendy, and she stated that I would not lose my home that I purchased prior to my 9 year marriage. After three years, three different attorneys, after retelling my case over and over and over again while being billed, after doing much of the grunt work to save billing hours, I lost my home where I lived with my four children. No explanation that Wendy and Heather can give me will suffice. They never worked to understand and argue my case, they made mistakes, and they continued to bill me- totaling over $60,000. I was ordered to sell my home that I purchased before marriage. I was ordered to split the equity with a husband who did not pay the mortgage. I was ordered to share my other assets, including my retirement. It was a historic loss under the representation of Prince Law Group. By the way, I am not a wealthy person. I am an elementary school teacher who believed and trusted that The Prince Law Group would do their best to help me. Big mistake. Suzanne
Feb 03, 2025 · Suzanne MitchellI had an unsatisfactory experience with The Prince Law Group for several reasons: Unexpected Fees: I was surprised by some of the charges, such as being billed $56 for an email that consisted of just two sentences. This made me feel that communication costs were higher than anticipated. Inefficient Use of Consultation Time: The lawyer often over-explained simple matters and spoke at a very slow pace, which extended our sessions unnecessarily. I was also charged for 15 minutes during which the lawyer discussed personal topics unrelated to my case. Added 12/31/2024: Extra Funds Requested: With one meeting remaining they said my retainer ran out and I needed to fully replenish it for them to finish the work ($2500)- never did they offer to do anything for free despite the unprofessionalism displayed. Scheduling Challenges: There were instances where meetings were canceled at the last minute due to personal matters. This was inconvenient and felt very unprofessional. While I understand that legal matters can be complex, these issues affected my overall experience. I hope they consider improving in these areas for future clients.
Dec 31, 2024 · Michael FerraroThe prince law group helped me resolve custody issues with my sons mother. Megan was amazing. She’s very knowledgeable and was very detailed and provided great guidance throughout the whole process.
Aug 14, 2024 · Freddie CWendy and her team are clearly very capable attorneys, but what set Wendy apart was her willingness to sit down and speak with me holistically about my situation and offer me counsel and advice that served my best interest, and not necessarily the interest of her firm. Being an attorney myself, I can say for sure that this is not a trait shared by many other lawyers and firms. Wendy's counsel opened my eyes to new ways of thinking about my situation, and I will be forever grateful to her. I would highly recommend this firm to everyone!
