Used Miriam for a family law dispute. She was the perfect choice - very knowledgeable about NY family law, direct and to the point, optimistic but not overly optimistic. We ultimately settled the matter on favorable terms. Thanks Miriam!

Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP Introduce

For individuals and families in New York City navigating complex legal challenges, the "Lawyers Near Me" platform offers a resource to connect with experienced legal professionals. Among the listed firms is Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP, situated at a convenient Manhattan address: 347 5th Ave, New York, NY 10037, USA. This Fifth Avenue location suggests accessibility for clients seeking legal counsel in a central part of the city.

Operating from their office on Fifth Avenue, Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP likely provides a professional environment for client consultations and legal proceedings. While specific details about the office ambiance are not available online, it is reasonable to expect a setting that ensures client comfort and confidentiality when discussing sensitive legal matters. The location itself is indicative of a firm serving the legal needs of the New York community.

Based on the available information, including a customer review mentioning family law, Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP appears to offer services in this area. Family law encompasses a range of sensitive legal issues, including divorce, child custody, child support, and other domestic relations matters. The positive review specifically highlights Miriam's knowledge of New York family law, her direct and clear communication style, and her ability to achieve a favorable settlement for her client. This suggests that the firm has experience in navigating family law disputes effectively.

However, it is important to consider all available feedback. Another review presents a contrasting perspective, detailing a negative experience with Ira as opposing counsel in a divorce case. This review expresses concerns about his conduct, alleging disrespect, condoning of lies, and prioritizing financial gain over the client's best interests. It is crucial for potential clients to weigh all available information and consider that this review pertains to an attorney acting as opposing counsel, not representing the reviewer directly.

Considering the available information, Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP appears to offer legal services that include, at least, family law. Given the common legal needs in New York City, it is also possible that the firm handles other areas of law, such as:

Divorce Law: As indicated by the reviews, the firm has experience in divorce proceedings, addressing issues such as property division, spousal support, and the complexities of marital dissolution.

Child Custody and Support: Matters concerning children are often central to family law cases. The firm may assist clients in establishing custody arrangements, visitation schedules, and child support obligations.

Other Family Law Matters: This could include prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, and other legal issues related to family relationships.

Given the mention of litigation in one of the reviews (referring to court proceedings), Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP likely also provides litigation services in the areas they practice. This means they represent clients in court when necessary to resolve legal disputes.

The key features of Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP, based on their listing on the "Lawyers Near Me" platform and the available reviews, include their location on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, making them accessible to many in New York City. The positive review regarding Miriam highlights her knowledge and effectiveness in family law, suggesting a strength in this area. The availability of both a local phone number, (212) 725-6418, and a mobile phone number, +1 212-725-6418, indicates a commitment to client accessibility.

It is important to note that the negative review regarding Ira's conduct as opposing counsel should be considered within that context. The experience of a party dealing with an opposing counsel may differ significantly from the experience of a client being represented by the same attorney. Potential clients should focus on their own legal needs and seek to understand how Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP can meet those needs.

For local users in the New York area who are utilizing the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP, located on Fifth Avenue, offers a centrally situated legal practice with accessible contact information. The positive feedback regarding family law services suggests experience and positive outcomes in this area. Individuals facing family law disputes should consider contacting the firm to discuss their specific situation and to learn more about how their attorneys can provide assistance. It is always advisable to have a direct consultation to assess the attorney's suitability for your individual legal needs.

In conclusion, Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP, listed within the "Lawyers Near Me" category with an office on Fifth Avenue in New York City, provides a conveniently located legal resource with apparent expertise in family law, as indicated by a positive client review. While another review offers a critical perspective on one of the firm's attorneys acting as opposing counsel, potential clients should focus on their own representation needs. Local users are encouraged to contact Treuhaft & Zakarin LLP directly at (212) 725-6418 to discuss their legal matters and determine if the firm's expertise and approach align with their specific requirements, particularly in areas of family law and potential related litigation.

I am speaking from personal experience from hiving Ira be an opposition council in my divorce. I can't say he ever had his client's my ex husband's best interest at heart because he condoned his client's lies many times during the 2 years we are in courts which was only in my best interest, it was fantastic to see the judge put him in his place several times. What struck me the most is the complete disrespect towards me. I didn't do anything to him or his client. I didn't lie, didn't scheme, didn't harass, didn't threatened, didn't misrepresent, didn't shift blame, was not passive aggressive, was not disrespectful, presented all documents immediately on request, did not argue with him in court unlike his client. Ira reflected onto me everything his client was doing during this incredibly difficult divorce over 2 year period of time. Ira mentally and emotionally abused me every chance he got, In every opposition statement i was openly blamed for all deadly sins and his client was and innocent victim which is his life position, nothing is ever his fault, even when he's lying and stealing it's always others to blame! Also lucky for me cause the judge saw right through him. I mean it's fun to see them squirm every time the judge ruled in my favor specifically because his client is absolutely unruly liar and we've proven with hard evidence every lie and every misconduct! But the demeaner, cruelty and disrespect with which Ira spoke to me and about me is disgusting and ridiculous! He didn't only disrespect me as a human been and a woman, but he also disrespected himself and his client by allowing all the lies, knowing that they are lies and being scolded in court over 2 years. My attorney cared enough to never ever behave disrespectfully or blame his client without having evidence In my opinion Ira can care less about outcome of the case, win or lose makes him money, nothing else matters. it's in his favor to allow his clients to be whatever they wants and lie as much as they wants, forcing having to take them back to court numerous times , keep ignoring all negotiation, all the stipulations for as long as possible which is great money making scheme. The longer his client is being difficult the more money Ira makes. All I want to say is that opposing counsel does not have to be, and I'll refrain from saying the actual word, like Ira Treuhaft. Name Treuhaft means honest and truthful, so please live up to your name! Respect yourself and your clients enough to be respectful to everyone even opposition!
