He was very dismissing when I called and he definitely deletes bad reviews too. I needed help filing a petition in court so that my child's father can sign my sons passport application and give me permission to go to cuba. Mr. Trifiletti said that was not possible and that there's no way I can get him to sign anything unless I get sole custody and said his retainer fee is 5k and 250 per hour. I called another lawyer in town who's alot cheaper and very good she's a family and custody lawyer. She said it's very possible to file petition to get him to do that for my son without filing for custody and wasting thousands of dollars in a custody case I probably won't win... he's very good at criminal defense but he doesn't know much about family and custody laws. I wouldn't go to him for that. Now he's very good at criminal defense he will get rid of your charges.

Trifiletti, Barry M Introduce

For individuals in Louisville, Kentucky, seeking legal counsel, the platform "Lawyers Near Me" serves as a valuable resource to connect with local attorneys. Among the legal professionals listed is Barry M Trifiletti, an attorney with an office situated at 730 W Market St, 4th floor, Louisville, KY 40202, USA. This central location in Louisville's legal district offers accessibility for clients seeking legal assistance.

The office environment at 730 W Market Street, while specific details are not provided, typically reflects a professional setting expected in a legal practice. Clients can anticipate a space designed to facilitate confidential discussions and legal consultations. The convenience of the location within the city's legal hub can be advantageous for those who may need to visit courts or other related legal offices.

Based on available online feedback, Barry M Trifiletti appears to have a strong focus and reputation in the area of criminal defense. One reviewer explicitly stated, "he's very good at criminal defense he will get rid of your charges." This suggests that individuals facing criminal accusations in Louisville may find his expertise particularly beneficial. His experience in this field could encompass a wide range of criminal matters, providing clients with knowledgeable representation to navigate the complexities of the legal system.

However, the reviews also offer insights into other areas of law. One client seeking assistance with a child's passport application and permission to travel to Cuba reported a less satisfactory experience. This individual indicated that Mr. Trifiletti deemed the request "not possible" without pursuing sole custody and quoted a significant retainer fee. The reviewer subsequently consulted another attorney who advised that a petition could be filed without a full custody case. This suggests that while Mr. Trifiletti may excel in criminal defense, his knowledge or approach in family and custody law might be perceived differently by some clients.

Another review presents a contrasting perspective, describing Mr. Trifiletti as a "legal giant" and "a model of efficiency" who acts as a "true ally in legal matters, great and small." This client expressed strong satisfaction, regretting not finding him sooner and wishing they could give more than five stars. This positive feedback highlights his dedication and effectiveness in at least some areas of his practice.

Considering these varied experiences, potential clients should carefully assess their specific legal needs. For those facing criminal charges in Louisville, Barry M Trifiletti's acknowledged strength in criminal defense, as indicated by one reviewer, could be a significant feature. His ability to potentially "get rid of your charges" suggests a strong track record and effective strategies in this domain.

However, for individuals with family law or custody-related issues, the feedback suggests a more cautious approach. The discrepancy in advice regarding the passport petition raises concerns about his expertise or approach in this area. It would be prudent for those seeking assistance with family law matters to inquire specifically about his experience and approach in similar cases.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, the positive review praising his efficiency and being a "true ally" can be seen as an indirect endorsement of his client service in certain legal contexts. The mention of a $5,000 retainer fee and an hourly rate of $250, while specific to one individual's experience with a family law inquiry, provides some insight into his potential fee structure, although this may vary depending on the nature of the case.

For local users utilizing the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Barry M Trifiletti's contact information is readily available: phone (502) 589-9333 and mobile phone +1 502-589-9333. Interested individuals can reach out to schedule a consultation to discuss their legal situation and determine if his expertise aligns with their specific needs. It is always advisable to have a direct conversation with any prospective lawyer to understand their approach, experience, and fees related to your particular case.

In conclusion, Barry M Trifiletti is an attorney located in Louisville, Kentucky, with a strong indication of expertise in criminal defense. While one client reported a positive experience highlighting his efficiency and advocacy, another expressed concerns regarding his handling of a family law matter. Potential clients should consider these varying perspectives and directly communicate their specific legal requirements to Mr. Trifiletti to ascertain if his services are the right fit for their needs, particularly distinguishing between criminal defense and other areas of law.

After wasting time and money for years on marginal attorneys I have finally found a legal giant. A model of efficiency and a true ally in legal matters, great and small. This man will be on Your side. No doubt about it. My only regrets are that I didn't find him sooner and that I can only give five stars.
