Let me start with the good: my property taxes were appealed and I did get a reduction down to the value my house was appraised at. That’s about it, and I think other attorneys would be able to get me the same results based on the facts. Anytime I called the office, other than when I spoke to the other partner (Chad) I felt massively condescended to. In my mind, I hired this professional because this is not something I do on a regular basis and if that means I need to ask questions to understand the process, then those questions should be answered. The bigger issue though is that my town refunded the difference in my property taxes to the attorney on November 10, 2020. I was told by the front desk, I would receive my check before Christmas because of Covid and the holidays. I did not receive it until January 22nd. I did not follow up until after Christmas and every time I did, there was some excuse of either we didn’t mail the check yet, the address was smudged, etc. I don’t understand why they did not send it certified after so many mishaps. I’m sure if the refund check had instead gone to me and I didn’t pay the attorney for 3 months, they would have sent me to collections regardless of my excuse. I do not plan on ever using them again, the customer service was abysmal.

Vespasiano Michael Introduce

Welcome to the local introduction of Vespasiano Michael, an established legal practice located in Chatham, New Jersey, serving the legal needs of the local community and surrounding areas. As a featured professional on the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Vespasiano Michael offers accessible legal services from their office situated at 331 Main St C, Chatham, NJ 07928, USA. This location provides a convenient point of contact for residents seeking legal counsel and representation.

While specific details about the firm's history, the size of the team, or the precise ambiance of the office are not extensively available online, the presence of a physical address in a town like Chatham suggests a commitment to providing grounded and local legal support. The environment is likely professional and geared towards facilitating confidential client meetings and effective case management. Clients can expect a setting where they can discuss their legal matters with privacy and receive focused attention.

Based on the limited information available, including a specific mention of property tax appeals in a client review, it can be inferred that Vespasiano Michael offers services in areas related to property law. The positive aspect of the review highlights a successful property tax appeal, indicating competence in this field. This suggests that local users dealing with property tax assessments may find valuable assistance from this practice. It is reasonable to assume that the services extend to other areas of real estate law as well, which could include transactions, disputes, and related legal matters.

One of the features highlighted in the client feedback is the successful reduction of property taxes based on an appraisal. This outcome demonstrates a tangible benefit achieved for at least one client, suggesting an understanding of the local property tax system and the appeal process. For homeowners in Chatham and nearby areas who believe their property taxes are unfairly high, Vespasiano Michael may offer a valuable service in challenging these assessments.

However, it is crucial to also consider the entirety of the available feedback to provide an objective introduction. One review mentions concerns regarding customer service, specifically citing instances of perceived condescension and significant delays in the disbursement of a tax refund check. This feedback points to potential inconsistencies in client communication and administrative processes. While the outcome of the property tax appeal was positive for this particular client, the experience was marred by issues related to communication and the handling of the refund.

In contrast, another piece of feedback states having "many interactions with the firm...always treated fairly, expeditious and good results." This provides a different perspective, suggesting that other clients have had positive experiences with Vespasiano Michael. This indicates that client experiences may vary, and it is essential for potential clients to consider both positive and negative feedback when making a decision.

Given the available information, it is challenging to outline a comprehensive list of all services offered by Vespasiano Michael. However, based on the successful property tax appeal and the likelihood of related real estate services, potential areas of practice may include:

  • Property Tax Appeals: Assisting homeowners and property owners in challenging their property tax assessments to ensure they are fair and accurate.
