Volkov Berezin & Associates Introduce

On the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, the search for legal representation often focuses on finding attorneys with specific expertise to navigate complex legal fields. Today, we turn our attention to Volkov Berezin & Associates, a law firm based in Northbrook, IL, which appears to specialize in immigration law. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of the firm, particularly focusing on the services provided by Irena Berezin, based on publicly available information and client reviews, to assist local users in their decision-making process.

Volkov Berezin & Associates is located at 555 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, IL 60062, USA. This address places the firm within a well-known commercial corridor in Northbrook, making it accessible to clients in the local area and potentially beyond. The firm can be reached by phone at (847) 504-4008 or via mobile at +1 847-504-4008. The provision of both landline and mobile contact numbers emphasizes accessibility, which is particularly crucial in immigration matters that often involve tight deadlines and international communication. The location on Skokie Boulevard suggests a visible and professionally situated office, likely within a commercial building, suitable for client consultations.

While specific details about the interior environment of Volkov Berezin & Associates are not extensively detailed in public information, one can infer a standard professional law office setting. Firms specializing in immigration law typically maintain an environment that is confidential, organized, and welcoming to clients from diverse backgrounds. Such an office would feature private consultation rooms to discuss sensitive personal and legal details, a reception area, and workspaces designed to efficiently manage extensive paperwork and electronic communications inherent in immigration cases. The atmosphere would aim to be conducive to thorough discussions, ensuring clients feel comfortable and confident in sharing their personal stories and legal circumstances.

The primary service offered by Volkov Berezin & Associates, as indicated by the client reviews, is immigration law. Specifically, Irena Berezin is highlighted as an immigration attorney. Clients seek her assistance with various immigration processes, including filing paperwork for US residency, obtaining green cards, and dealing with waivers. One client describes her as someone who helps "file all of our paperwork" and is "helpful throughout the entire process," making an "extremely difficult and overwhelming task into something manageable and understandable." This suggests a service model focused on guiding clients through the bureaucratic complexities of immigration applications, ensuring correct documentation, and providing procedural assistance. Immigration law encompasses a vast array of services, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization, asylum, and deportation defense. While the reviews specifically mention residency and green card applications, it is reasonable to expect that as an immigration attorney, Irena Berezin would offer a broader range of services within this field. However, it is important to note the differing perspectives on the depth of legal advice provided, as detailed in the client feedback.

The features of Volkov Berezin & Associates, particularly concerning Irena Berezin, are presented through contrasting client experiences. One client praises her as a "fantastic immigration attorney" who is "highly responsive and very professional." This review emphasizes her instrumental role in their immigration process, highlighting her ability to simplify complex procedures and provide vital support. This perspective suggests a firm that prioritizes client communication, professionalism, and effective procedural guidance, making the immigration journey less daunting for individuals. This positive feedback points to a lawyer who is perceived as a dedicated and valuable partner in achieving immigration goals. For this client, the firm's services were "worth every penny," indicating high satisfaction with the value received.

However, another client review offers a significantly different perspective, which is crucial for an objective introduction. This review raises concerns about the firm's consultation process and the depth of legal knowledge for complex cases. The client recounts a 15-minute immigration consultation, for which they were charged $350, where Irena Berezin allegedly interrupted them, stated their case was "unheard of," and claimed not to know any immigration attorney who had handled similar situations, despite the client seeking help to obtain US Residency Through their US citizen wife and needing a waiver. This client ultimately went with a different attorney who successfully handled their "not easy" and "not fast" case, culminating in a green card three years later. This contrasting review suggests that while the firm may be effective for standard paperwork filing and straightforward cases, its capacity for highly complex or unconventional immigration scenarios requiring extensive legal strategizing and "working their butt off" might be perceived differently by some clients. The term "paperwork filer" is used in this negative review, indicating a perception that the firm primarily handles routine administrative tasks rather than complex litigation or novel legal challenges.

In terms of promotional information, the firm's public listing on "Lawyers Near Me" and accessible contact details serve as primary means of promotion, aiming to attract local individuals seeking immigration legal services. The positive client review acts as a strong testimonial, directly promoting Irena Berezin's professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to make the immigration process manageable. This type of endorsement is invaluable for building trust and credibility within the community. Conversely, the negative review, while critical, also provides information for potential clients, advising them to consider the firm's scope of expertise, particularly for cases that might be more complex or require extensive legal strategy beyond standard paperwork. For individuals seeking immigration services, it is always advisable to engage in an initial consultation to discuss their specific case thoroughly, understand the attorney's proposed approach, and clarify expectations regarding complexity and potential outcomes. This initial interaction would allow potential clients to assess whether the firm's capabilities align with the specific demands of their immigration situation, particularly if their case involves intricate details or requires a waiver, as highlighted in the critical review.

The disparate experiences presented in the reviews highlight the importance of individual case assessment. While one client found the services "fantastic" and "vital," another felt the consultation was unhelpful for their "unheard of" case. This suggests that the firm might excel in certain types of immigration matters, possibly those that are more procedural and common, while perhaps being less equipped or perceived as less capable for highly unusual or challenging cases requiring extensive, non-standard legal work and advocacy beyond document submission.

In conclusion, Volkov Berezin & Associates, with Irena Berezin as a key attorney, operates in Northbrook, IL, specializing in immigration law. The firm offers services for processes such as US residency and green card applications, with a focus on guiding clients through paperwork and procedural aspects. While some clients highly commend Irena Berezin for her professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to simplify complex tasks, others express concern about the depth of legal advice for unique or challenging cases. For local users seeking assistance with immigration matters, it is recommended to consider their specific case's complexity and engage in a thorough consultation to determine if Volkov Berezin & Associates is the right fit for their particular needs, especially if their situation deviates significantly from standard immigration processes.

to start Irene Berezin Scheduled me at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday . I thought it was odd since it was really important.(well at least for me)Charged me $350 for a 15 minute immigration consultation. At the 10 minute mark or so, she interrupted me and told me that my case could not proceed and that anyways my time was almost up. She went on explaining that my case was unheard of and that she did not knew no immigration attorney that had done anything similar. For context; I want help obtaining US Residency Through My wife, A US citizen. Also needed help with a waiver. It seems that they call themselves immigration attorneys.but I belive Irene Berezin Is a paper work filer. She will only file paperwork based on peoples different cases. She had no knowtion when I told her that my US citizen wife Could sponsor me. I went with a different attorney, He worked his butt off, He had a paralegal team that prepared me, I was on the phone with them for hours getting my waiver ready. It was not easy, And it was also not fast, But he got it done. Irene Berezin , i received my green card 3 years later. Shame on you.for you Unprofessionalism is people like you why lots of people get in trouble with USCIS and loose the opportunity to have a better life here in the US... Good luck to everyone reading .

Irina Berezina -is the worst lawyer ever! she is not professional, she made a lot of very important mistakes ,when filling out my green card documents. And many times i have to cheek and tell her about ,you need to fix this and this - over and over. She’s not focusing !! On Very IMPORTANT simple thinks. I turned to her on the recommendation, but i wish I should have read the reviews about her before using this lawyer! Now I got a different lawyer and he’s fixing everything after her mess. Russian people do not go to her!!! she will talk to you in English, even after you ask her not to do it because you don’t understand. She never explain anything. She is not interested on clients, she just don’t care! she lies at the consultation, she says one thing, but in the end way different!! And she has not provided a contract for the provision of her legal services.it's also doubtful! She didn’t even give me a receipt or anything like that . I payed 900$for filling up the papers, and doing a lot of unprofessional mistakes. Although she Refused to take the I -864 form from my husband this is very important document when you file for the green card because you married. And she says you don’t need that- now ! I’m having a new problem because of this !!!!! I doubt that she is a lawyer. Don’t go to her she will ruin your papers and case. It was 2021. today is February 13.2024 and we have new problems because of HER!
