Absolutely terrible. Do not go to this man. He will suck up every last penny out of you and get his buddies in on it as well. I went to him after my first offense and he knew that I was vulnerable. This was a perfect opportunity for him to extort my family out of thousands of dollars. All within the parameters of the law, so there is nothing we can do about it now. During the initial meeting he spoke kindly and softly and made it seem like my issue could be resolved easily. He laid down his game plan and, quite frankly, it sounded very promising. All I had to do was not get into any more trouble and just live my the life the way I was, while he took care of everything. He told us that because it was the holidays, he would only charge us $2500 when he normally charges $2750. Then he proceeded to take out some documents for us to sign and right there is black and white it said "$2500". How could it say already say $2500 when he normally charges $2750? Maybe he pre-printed these documents and had them ready beforehand. I didn't say anything about it because I just wanted my issue resolved. Near the end of the meeting, he strongly recommended I get a psychiatric evaluation because it would help build my case. He recommended one of his friends that he usually works with. I thought to myself, "Wow, what an amazing lawyer, he already has everything planned out for my case. It seems like he already really cares." A few weeks later I went to this psychiatrist and he charged me $900 for the evaluation and $300 for a "write up". I wasn't exactly too sure what that meant, but I wanted to stay on the safe side and do everything my extremely caring lawyer says. Fast track a few months and it is finally my court date. I am feeling confident that we will win this. I get there an hour early, as he instructed me to. It is 15 minutes before my hearing and he is still not here. I give him a call and he does not answer. I give his secretary a call and he does not answer. At this point I am just sitting there like an idiot, hoping that the lawyer I just handed over thousands of dollars to decides to show up to defend me in court. Eventually he shows up, over an hour late and looking like he hadn't even taken the time to look presentable. Now get this. The company we were up against had a policy where under no circumstances do they negotiate with the defended. That basically means that whether I had paid for the best lawyer in the country and taken all the psychiatric tests in the world, I would have gotten the same sentencing as someone that just went with the court appointed lawyer. It does not end here. He told me that I would be getting a $150 civil fee in the mail and I did not have to pay it. He would take care of it for me. I did just that. I did not pay it because I trusted him. Fast forward a couple months and I get another letter in the mail telling me how I still have to pay it. I give send my "lawyer" an email asking if this was a mistake and he told me to once again, not worry about it. Fast track a few more weeks and this same company sends another letter demanding that we pay $425. This has to be a mistake right? My dad goes in to Adam's office to discuss this with him and all of a sudden he isn't there. It was pretty obvious that he was ducking us. My dad spoke with his secretary and she says that they can send a letter to this company, but at a fee. In the end, we paid the $425. Now I understand that I was in the wrong and I was the one being taken to court for my mistakes, but this man, Adam Weisberg, is in the wrong for extorting my family of thousands of dollars. I feel like any lawyer should have done their job and done their research on the company and have known what their policies were. Maybe all lawyers are like this. Who knows? But what I do know is that this lawyers is definitely not one that you should go to. Do your own research beforehand because those you hire to defend you in a court of law will be the same ones picking your pockets behind your back.

Weisberg Adam Introduce

For individuals in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area seeking legal representation through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, it is crucial to thoroughly evaluate all available information about potential legal counsel. Weisberg Adam, an attorney with an office located at 191 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, USA, and contact numbers (732) 846-4005 and +1 732-846-4005, is one such legal service provider in the local vicinity. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of this lawyer based on a detailed and strongly negative client review found online, addressing aspects of the environment, services, features, and the client's experience.

The provided review does not offer any specific details about the physical environment of Weisberg Adam's office at 191 Livingston Ave. Therefore, no objective information can be provided regarding the ambiance, facilities, or overall professional setting of the office based solely on this review.

The services that Weisberg Adam was hired for, according to the detailed client testimonial, involved representation for a first offense legal matter. The client sought Mr. Weisberg's assistance with the expectation of a favorable resolution. However, the review details a highly negative experience, alleging that Mr. Weisberg exploited the client's vulnerability and, through legal means, extracted a significant amount of money from the client's family. The client felt that Mr. Weisberg prioritized financial gain over effective legal representation and accused him of essentially extorting thousands of dollars.

Several concerning features of Mr. Weisberg's conduct and the services provided are highlighted in the review. Firstly, the client alleges a deceptive initial meeting where Mr. Weisberg spoke "kindly and softly" and presented a seemingly promising plan, creating a false sense of ease and potential for a simple resolution. Secondly, the client raises questions about the fee structure, noting that a quoted holiday discount of $2500 appeared already printed on the contract, suggesting a potentially misleading pricing strategy. Thirdly, Mr. Weisberg strongly recommended a psychiatric evaluation by a friend he frequently worked with, leading to an additional $1200 in expenses for the client, the necessity and benefit of which are later questioned by the client in light of the case's outcome. Fourthly, Mr. Weisberg's significant lateness (over an hour) to the court hearing, coupled with an unprofessional appearance, is noted as a major lapse in professional conduct.

Furthermore, the client points out a critical failure on Mr. Weisberg's part to adequately research the opposing party's policy of not negotiating with the defended. This policy rendered the client's investment in legal representation, including the psychiatric evaluation, potentially futile in terms of influencing the sentencing outcome. The client suggests that a competent lawyer should have been aware of this policy beforehand. Finally, the review details alleged mismanagement of a civil fee, where Mr. Weisberg initially advised the client not to pay it, claiming he would handle it, only for the client to receive repeated demands for payment and ultimately incur additional costs due to Mr. Weisberg's inaction and subsequent request for a fee to send a letter on the client's behalf.

There is no promotional information about Weisberg Adam presented in the provided review. Instead, the review serves as a strong warning against engaging his services, with the client explicitly stating, "Do not go to this man." The detailed account of alleged extortion, poor communication, lack of preparedness, and financial mismanagement acts as a significant deterrent for potential clients.

For local users in the New Brunswick, NJ, area utilizing the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, this detailed and highly critical review of Weisberg Adam should be given significant consideration. The allegations of deceptive practices, unnecessary expenses, unprofessional behavior, and ineffective representation raise serious concerns about the quality of legal services that might be expected. Potential clients should weigh this experience heavily when making their decision about legal counsel and may want to seek out other lawyers with more positive and reliable feedback in the area.

Given the gravity of the accusations in the review, it would be prudent for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence and seek legal representation from other sources with a proven track record of professionalism, ethical conduct, and positive client outcomes. Exploring online reviews for other lawyers in the New Brunswick area and seeking recommendations from trusted sources may be a more advisable approach than engaging Weisberg Adam based on this singular, but highly detailed and negative, client experience.

In conclusion, the detailed client review for Weisberg Adam, located at 191 Livingston Ave in New Brunswick, NJ, paints a concerning picture of alleged unprofessionalism, financial exploitation, poor communication, and ineffective legal representation. Local users searching for legal assistance through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform are strongly urged to carefully consider this account and exercise extreme caution before deciding to engage this lawyer for their legal needs. The allegations of serious misconduct warrant thorough investigation and a strong consideration of alternative legal counsel in the New Brunswick area to ensure competent and trustworthy representation.
