It is important for prospective clients to consider all available feedback when evaluating legal representation. The provided reviews suggest some challenges with communication and case resolution timelines. One client noted difficulty in getting calls returned and a case being stalled, while another mentioned payment issues after the firm was paid. These experiences highlight the importance of clear communication channels and diligent follow-up throughout a legal process. In the professional legal services industry, especially for firms that handle personal injury, disability, and VA claims, it is not common practice to offer conventional "promotions" or "special offers" in the retail sense. Law firms typically operate on a fee structure that reflects the complexity of the case, the expertise required, and the time invested by the attorneys. For personal injury, Social Security Disability, and VA claims, many firms, including potentially Wener & Associates, operate on a contingency fee basis. This means that the client does not pay an attorney fee unless the attorney successfully recovers compensation or benefits for them. This structure helps make legal representation accessible to individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford upfront legal costs. Prospective clients in Tennessee are encouraged to contact Wener & Associates directly to discuss their specific legal needs and inquire about their fee arrangements. During an initial consultation, you can gain a clear understanding of their billing practices and how fees would be applied to your particular case. This direct conversation is crucial for setting clear expectations regarding financial aspects and the legal process.

When contacting the office, it is advisable to have a brief, clear summary of your legal matter ready. As noted in some reviews, communication responsiveness can be a concern, so being persistent and clearly stating your needs is recommended. This will allow their staff to direct your inquiry appropriately and potentially facilitate a more efficient initial discussion. Wener & Associates aims to provide accessible legal support to the Memphis community.
For individuals across Tennessee, especially those in the Memphis area, Wener & Associates offers a local option for legal assistance, particularly for those navigating personal injury claims, Social Security Disability appeals, or VA benefits. Their downtown Memphis location makes them an accessible choice for residents seeking legal guidance without having to travel far from home. I would not recommend them to anybody. If you have issues you will NOT recieve any help. They got paid and I still haven't, can't get any help and it's been 4 mos and I'm still trying to get my back pay
Apr 04, 2025 · Kamilah ClaxtonSo since early September I was trying to get my VA case appealed, I left a dozen messages over the course of a few months with the assistant but they would never return my call, I literally spoke to him once and he said if I could get a doctor to send a letter that they would appeal my case for me, but they would never return my calls so we could move forward. Definitely wish I hadn't wasted my time.
Dec 08, 2024 · Justin MariseAfter a whole month of waiting on a return call, he was rude and abrupt, trying to simply check the boxes without even understanding what my area of issue was. Then, after rudely interrupting me for about the 5th time, I asked with all due respect if I could just please explain my actual need. He interrupted again, not even familiar with VA policy and regulation. We couldn't even get to the actual need, which was federal tort assistance because he kept assuming he knew right away what was needed, and it was not. To cut to the chase, he had absolutely no clue about VA matters, yet they advertise as if they can help you go against the VA in a lawful manner. I was just baffled at how little he knew! I just gave up and told him he has no idea what he is doing and to have a good day. Regardless of the issue, take a look at their horribly written website. They should hire me to edit. WARNING: Veterans looking for assistance should not reach out to this firm.
Oct 16, 2024 · Shayla SullivanSo I called the office yesterday inquiring about my juveniles disability claim. I was blown away of how rude he was. If you don't do child cases maybe you shouldn't advertise that you do! After wasting five minutes of my time. You could have kindly said in less that 30 seconds that this was the case not for you, but instead I was told calls like mine burden his office!? Being as your job is sepost to help people not be rude to someone inquiring about help. Very, very ,very rude!

Aug 27, 2024 · Christy GlassNo communication, was handling my case for 3 years. Talked to the lawyer maybe 4 times within that period, once he thought that the case wasn't winnable just stop contacting me all together even after I left several messages begging for him to call me back. If I could give negative stars I would. Never said my case was winnable, but as a 20 yr veteran looks like someone could at least call me back bit once there is no money involved what's the point I guess.
