In 2019 this office allowed Chase Bankers in Somers, NY to give my Mothers Social Security funds to a person other than her documented POA. The funds were never returned and the very same Bankers are now withholding my Safety Deposit Box contents while having in their possession appropriate documents for release. This office will be contacted today and then they need to act on the history of this cumulative financial trickery from the Chase Somers Bankers. Additionally, the State Troopers located 2 miles from such Bank find it difficult to write Criminal reports for such financial premeditated misconduct.

One reviewer recounts incidents involving Chase Bankers in Somers, NY, alleging that the bank improperly released the reviewer's mother's Social Security funds to an unauthorized individual and subsequently withheld the contents of a safety deposit box despite having the necessary release documents. The reviewer states an intention to contact the District Attorney's Office to address this "cumulative financial trickery." This suggests an expectation that the District Attorney's Office has the authority and responsibility to investigate and potentially prosecute financial misconduct, even if it involves private institutions.
The same reviewer also mentions that the State Troopers in the vicinity reportedly found it "difficult to write Criminal reports for such financial premeditated misconduct," further emphasizing the perceived complexity or lack of action regarding these financial issues.
The second review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the office's handling of a personal complaint. The reviewer claims to have filed a complaint in person but was refused a control number, contrary to the form's design. Furthermore, the reviewer alleges a lack of response to a filed charge of assault. The reviewer also states that their County Legislator contacted the District Attorney's Office on their behalf but similarly received no reply. This lack of perceived action and communication leads the reviewer to conclude that the District Attorney's Office is failing to protect the public by enforcing the law, prompting the assertion that "people must take action to protect themselves and families."
It is crucial to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the overall performance or effectiveness of the Westchester County District Attorney's Office in all cases. May 19, 2023 · Nancy Ann DeSandoloBEWARE: Filed complaint in person, but DA’s office refused to provide a control number upon request, claiming never provided one despite the form having blocks for control purposes. Never received response to file charges for assault, and my County Legislator claims to have called the DA but also never received reply. If the DA doesn’t protect the public by enforcing the law, then clearly, people must take action to protect themselves and families.
