Evan was solid from start to finish. Super meticulous with everything, and he doesn’t beat around the bush — he tells you exactly how it is, even if it’s not what you want to hear. I actually appreciated that a lot. In court, he really knew how to work the room — confident, charming with the jury, and you could tell he had a deep understanding of case law. He broke everything down in a way that made sense, and I always felt like I knew what was going on. If you want someone who’s sharp, real with you, and knows how to handle himself in court, Evan’s your guy.

Where shall I begin? While I won’t get too detailed here, I thought it was important for the world to know Evan Watson! My situation began in 2020 and we just wrapped up with such a favorable outcome that I felt compelled to leave a review! From day ONE Evan and his team made me feel comfortable with my decision to hire them. He kept me in the loop every step of the way and strategized with me on the best course of action to take for the best outcome. He is a realist and will always speak on your behalf (not speak for you!). The research he does to ensure he is well prepared is second to none. He found a loophole in my case which was a complete game changer and led to the dismissal of the evidence that would have altered the case completely and put my life in the hands of the prosecutor. He will FIGHT for you as best he can within the statutes of the law. I vividly remember during one hearing… I was waiting for the judge to call my name but Evan was in the LAW LIBRARY doing some last minute research. What lawyer you know will do that??? He printed his findings and presented it to the judge. When he cross examined the arresting officer, I felt like I was on an episode of “Suits” and Harvey Spector was my attorney! I walked away yesterday with ONLY PAYING A FINE and nothing else. It could have been WAY worse! I am forever grateful for the work Evan and his team has done and although it took 5 years… it was worth the wait. The most important thing is that Evan is not only a great attorney, but he is a great human being all around. I would give 10 stars if I could and would definitely recommend his firm to anyone! Hiring Evan Watson was the best decision I could’ve made for myself. My case took YEARS and Evan was by my side every step of the way. There were times that I felt hopeless and worried and then I realized that I hired the best attorney in the world. Being charged with a felony or any crime can be such a burden in your life but Evan always treated me like a friend and not like a criminal. I’ve played with a ton of great musicians but watching Evan in the court room takes the cake. He is confident, well liked and once he takes your case, he will not let you down. I hired Peter Zeliff to represent my younger brother as he came highly recommended by others in Forsyth County. The cards were severely stacked against my brother and he was mentally prepared to do time even though he maintained his innocence. I honestly wasn't sure if he had a chance to win but I figured if Zeliff is any good then hopefully we can get his sentenced reduced.The first thing was the court set a trial date for June 2025... Peter demanded an expedient trial and spoiler alert my brother has been out since December 2024. Next thing we didnt know what to expect but Peter studied the case thoroughly. He didnt try to persuade my brother to accept a plea ( often an easy way out for attorneys ). Instead he took it to trial.Not only did he take it to trial but his knowledge, thoroughness, dedication, expertise, & experience humiliated the officer who wrongfully arrested my brother & completely convinced the judge of my brothers innocence. After Peter's presentation of the facts, analyzing & dissecting the Body / Dash cam footage, and intentionally precise method of cross examining the witnesses the judge pronounced my brother innocent and free to go immediately. We as a family can't thank Peter Zeliff enough. I was a bit concerned about going with an attorney whose fee was so reasonable compared to others in the area but his fulfillment of representation completely surpassed any of our expectations. Truly a blessing to anyone who has ended up in an unfavorable situation.
