You guys know what funny , I gave my all kinda medical bills to them . I gave every hospital information I visit due to that wreck and he recommended theirs physical therapist as Chambers Medical Group for me . I trust them and I went theres for like almost 2 months for my recovery. One day they called me and said hey , your case is ready for settled down and it’s my first time I gave my case to a lawyer . I went there !! Before we processed continued I ask him did you makes insurance company paid those all hospital bills and that therapist bills and I also gave my own health insurance card to them. He said yes all been paid and ready for to settled now. But trust me he do lied to me because non of the medical bills have been paid yet and that the therapist bills hasn’t paid too . I still got a therapist bills of 3000+ and medical bills of 2000+ on a credit report. So guys before you settled down your file just make sure never closed your file . For individuals in Louisville, Kentucky, seeking legal representation through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Bakers Law Office is located at 239 S 5th St #1500, Louisville, KY 40202, USA. They can be contacted by phone at (502) 583-7669 or +1 502-583-7669. However, it is crucial for prospective clients to carefully consider recent feedback regarding their services before making a decision.
The physical environment of Bakers Law Office, situated on the 15th floor of a building on South 5th Street, likely presents a professional office setting typical of law firms in a downtown area. Such a location often suggests accessibility to courts and other legal resources within the city. However, the limited information available online does not provide specific details about the ambiance or facilities of their office space.
Based on the limited information, it is challenging to definitively outline the full spectrum of legal services offered by Bakers Law Office. The primary information available comes from a detailed negative customer review concerning an accidental wreck case. This suggests that the firm handles personal injury cases, specifically those arising from motor vehicle accidents. The review mentions the client providing medical bills and hospital information related to their wreck and being referred to Chambers Medical Group for physical therapy, indicating that the firm may work with medical professionals in the context of personal injury claims.
However, the core of the available feedback raises significant concerns about the firm's practices. The disgruntled client recounts a case initiated in 2015 for an accidental wreck. They allege that after approximately a year, in 2016, they were informed that their case was ready to be settled. Prior to proceeding with the settlement, the client claims to have explicitly inquired whether all medical bills, including those from hospitals and the recommended physical therapist, had been paid by the insurance company. The client also states they provided their own health insurance information to the firm.
The client alleges that the attorney assured them that all bills had been paid and the case was ready for settlement. However, the client later discovered that none of the medical bills, including over $3000 in therapist bills and over $2000 in other medical bills, had been paid and were appearing on their credit report. This discrepancy between the attorney's alleged representation and the reality of the unpaid bills forms the crux of the negative feedback.
The client expresses strong feelings of being misled and potentially taken advantage of due to being a foreigner with limited understanding of such legal processes. They accuse the firm of scamming and discriminating against them, suggesting a breach of trust and professional responsibility. The client strongly advises others to ensure their files are never closed until all financial obligations are definitively resolved to avoid similar regrets and unwarranted debt.
In addition to this detailed negative account, another brief review simply states, "Never got a return call." This suggests a potential issue with client communication and responsiveness, which can be a significant factor in client satisfaction, regardless of the outcome of a legal case.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in the detailed review, it is difficult to ascertain positive features of Bakers Law Office based solely on this information. The review paints a picture of potential misrepresentation, financial mismanagement related to client funds (specifically the payment of medical bills from a settlement), and a lack of ethical conduct. The failure to return a phone call, as mentioned in the other review, further suggests potential shortcomings in client service.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Bakers Law Office in the provided data. The absence of positive reviews or any indication of special offers or services makes it challenging to identify any features that might attract new clients. The existing feedback serves as a strong cautionary note for potential clients.
For local users searching for "Lawyers Near Me" and considering Bakers Law Office, it is strongly recommended to proceed with extreme caution. The allegations of misrepresentation and financial mismanagement in the detailed customer review are serious and should not be ignored. Potential clients should conduct thorough due diligence, seek multiple opinions, and carefully scrutinize any agreements or representations made by the firm. It would be prudent to inquire specifically about the handling of medical bills and insurance payments in personal injury cases and to ensure transparent and documented processes are in place.
The lack of a return phone call reported by another reviewer also raises concerns about the firm's client communication practices. Effective and timely communication is a cornerstone of a positive attorney-client relationship. A failure in this area can lead to frustration and a lack of confidence in the representation.
In conclusion, while Bakers Law Office is located in Louisville, KY, the available customer feedback presents significant concerns regarding their handling of an accident case, specifically concerning the payment of medical bills and communication with clients. Potential clients should carefully weigh this information and consider seeking legal representation from other firms with more positive and verifiable track records. It is essential to prioritize transparency, ethical conduct, and effective communication when choosing a legal representative. The information currently available does not support a positive recommendation for Bakers Law Office.
