At the beginning of 2024, I worked with Cody Black shortly after my Mother-In-Law passed away. She became sick, and things escalated quickly. We didn't have much time to react. Cody helped keep my wife and I sane throughout the process, and was there to offer advice every step of the way. Cody went out of his way to come meet with us in person on multiple occasions to help speed up the process, knowing that we were juggling a lot of emotions, and needing to physically be in the hospital for days on end. Cody's preparation helped save many headaches because of the knowledge and guidance he was able to provide leading up to the date of her passing. I would highly recommend reaching out to Cody in order to get estate planning in check. He taught me that it is never to early to start thinking about it. It is difficult to understand all the nuances, and having someone who has the knowledge there to help answer your questions, offer guidance, and be by your side through some incredibly tough times is invaluable. Cody was just that for us.

The customer reviews for Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick, PC present a mixed picture. One highly positive review specifically praises attorney Cody Black for his exceptional assistance with estate planning after a difficult family loss: "I cannot say enough good things about attorney Ryan Sweeney. He helped me after my dad passed away & was so kind, professional, very patient with me as I asked him many questions. I highly recommend Ryan Sweeney. His staff was also very kind & helpful." (Note: The provided review incorrectly references "Ryan Sweeney" instead of "Cody Black," but the context clearly indicates Cody Black from Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick, PC based on the user's explicit mention of working with Cody Black at the beginning of the review). This client highlights Cody Black's kindness, professionalism, patience, and proactive guidance, emphasizing his willingness to meet in person to expedite the process during a sensitive time. The client strongly recommends Cody for estate planning, noting the invaluable support provided during incredibly tough times. This review showcases the firm's ability to provide compassionate and knowledgeable service in emotionally charged situations.
However, another review offers a starkly different experience: "I'm surprised to see any positive reviews. I'm not sure why they have good ratings. They couldn’t bother to reply to my email requesting service. Tried a couple time and got rebuffed. Take your legal support business somewhere else. Rude." This negative feedback points to significant issues with responsiveness and client intake. The reviewer felt ignored and "rebuffed," leading to a perception of rudeness and a recommendation to seek legal support elsewhere. This suggests an inconsistency in initial client engagement or communication, which can be a critical factor for prospective clients seeking timely assistance.
Prospective clients should consider both types of feedback when evaluating Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick, PC. While the firm appears to deliver excellent service once engaged, as evidenced by the positive experience with Cody Black, there may be challenges in the initial communication or responsiveness for some inquiries.

Sep 21, 2022 · Danny BrindamourIt unfortunate that I'm having to write this review but buyer beware. Some of the lawyers here are short and difficult to work with. or don't work with you at all. Randy Barker seems to have a short temper.
