I am beside myself..and I had one chance.this man Let me die metaphorically and literally..at least could have told truth he also has broken many law's the bar has set to protect ..beware... If I was not disabled he could not have done this. I would have been able to find out what was going on. I was in a bed waiting to get income to continue..he lagged after 7 years his comment "it looks bad and ha ha the judge says it Dosnt look good ok good luck" after I'm deformed and in pain and weak for life I have no one and he felt I would not be able to do anything .. He was correct this is it this note.I am left out of American dream this man is wealthy and immune to persecution. Of course some get $ that aren't didabled by him... So there happy. When seeking legal representation, especially in the sensitive area of disability claims, individuals often turn to platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" to find a local attorney. The Daniel Emery Law Office, located at P.O. Box 670, 36 Yarmouth Crossing Dr, Yarmouth, ME 04096, USA, presents itself as an option for those in the area. The office can be reached via phone at (800) 310-7771 or mobile at +1 800-310-7771.
The environment of a law office, while not explicitly detailed in publicly available information for Daniel Emery Law Office, can be inferred from its location. Yarmouth Crossing Drive suggests a setting within a commercial or professional park, which is common for law practices. Such locations often offer dedicated parking and a professional, albeit perhaps not highly personalized, office setup. The presence of a P.O. Box in the address alongside a physical street address implies a firm that handles correspondence remotely as well as in-person meetings. For clients dealing with challenging circumstances, an accessible and straightforward environment is generally preferred.
Based on available information, Daniel Emery Law Office appears to primarily focus its services on Social Security Disability law. Websites such as Justia and FindLaw list Daniel Emery as an attorney with extensive experience, specifically noting a focus on Social Security Disability in Maine. This specialization means that clients approaching this office are likely seeking assistance with navigating the complex process of applying for or appealing denials of Social Security Disability benefits. This typically involves:
Initial Application Assistance: Helping clients gather necessary medical documentation and complete the extensive paperwork required for a disability application.
Appeals Process: Representing clients through various levels of appeal, including reconsideration, hearings before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), and potentially appeals council reviews or federal court actions.
Evidence Gathering: Working with medical professionals to obtain crucial reports and opinions that support a client's disability claim.
Hearing Representation: Representing clients during disability hearings, questioning witnesses, and presenting arguments to the ALJ.
A firm specializing in Social Security Disability often emphasizes that there are "No Fees unless you win," making legal representation accessible to individuals who are already facing financial hardship due to their disability. This model is common within this specific legal area.
However, a critical examination of the features of Daniel Emery Law Office, as gleaned from the provided customer reviews, presents a deeply concerning perspective on the client experience. The reviews paint a picture that directly contradicts the desired qualities of legal representation.
One review describes an experience that is particularly distressing. The client alleges that the lawyer "was told not to tell me what my Dr was doing" and "through my case," leaving the client "ill and penniless" after cancer surgery and radiation, with "no borderline disability" income. The client states, "I'm left out of American dream this man is wealthy and immune to persecution." The review claims the lawyer "let me go 7 years" and then allegedly commented, "it looks bad and ha ha the judge says it Dosnt look good ok good luck." The client further alleges that the lawyer "also has broken many law's the bar has set to protect" and was "abusive to me in court room." The client mentions an officer on duty and a driver who allegedly corroborated the lawyer's negative behavior. A particularly troubling aspect mentioned is a form the client allegedly signed, stating that any settlement funds would be sent directly to the lawyer instead of the client, under the false pretense of child support, despite the client having no children. The client also emphasizes that the lawyer "never told me what was going on" and that the lawyer allegedly "dumped case" when it seemed he could no longer make money from it. This review, if accurate, points to extreme deficiencies in communication, professional ethics, client advocacy, and a profound disregard for the client's well-being and legal rights.
The second review reinforces the negative sentiment, stating, "This Attorney is out for his best interest not yours. Will toss you like a hot potato if it is found out there may be any issues with your case. Do not recommend this one if you're looking for an attorney to advocate for you." This review echoes the themes of self-interest and abandonment of clients when cases become challenging, directly contradicting the fundamental principle of a lawyer acting in the client's best interest. The phrase "toss you like a hot potato" clearly indicates a perceived lack of commitment and advocacy.
These reviews, while representing individual experiences, describe features that are critical for any legal professional: trust, communication, advocacy, and ethical conduct. When clients describe feeling "left ill and penniless," "abused," and "dumped" by their legal representative, it suggests a profound failure in these areas. The claim that the lawyer "has broken many law's the bar has set to protect" also raises serious concerns about professional responsibility and adherence to legal ethics. The mention of a signed form redirecting settlement funds, if true, highlights a potentially egregious breach of trust and financial transparency.
Given the severity of these unverified claims in the customer reviews, any promotional information for Daniel Emery Law Office would be significantly challenged. While a law office would typically promote its expertise, success rates, and client-focused approach, the provided testimonials directly undermine such claims. Objective introduction, based on the provided information, necessitates acknowledging these highly critical client experiences.
Therefore, any promotional messaging for Daniel Emery Law Office within the "Lawyers Near Me" category would face an immediate and significant hurdle in light of these detailed negative reviews. Promotional materials would typically focus on aspects like:
Specialization: "Dedicated to helping you secure your Social Security Disability benefits."
Accessibility: "Conveniently located in Yarmouth, with a toll-free number for easy access."
Fee Structure: "No upfront fees – you only pay if we win your case."
However, these potential positive points are overshadowed by the explicit warnings from past clients. The reviews suggest that potential clients should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence beyond just location and stated specialization, particularly when considering representation for critical and life-altering matters like disability claims. The primary takeaway from the provided client feedback is a severe caution against engaging this specific legal service, emphasizing a perceived lack of advocacy, honesty, and professional integrity.
