Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP Introduce

When you're facing employment-related legal issues and searching for "Lawyers Near Me" in Minneapolis, Minnesota, it's crucial to find a firm that not only possesses the necessary legal expertise but also provides reliable and dedicated representation. Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP, located at 825 Nicollet Mall Suite 1625, Minneapolis, MN 55402, USA, is a law firm that appears to focus on employment law. To provide local users with a detailed and objective introduction, we will analyze the firm's potential environment, services, and features based on their address and the contrasting experiences shared in the available customer reviews.

The address on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis indicates a centrally located office within a commercial building. Suite 1625 suggests a professional setting suitable for conducting legal consultations and managing client cases. Being situated in the heart of Minneapolis, the office is likely easily accessible for individuals working or residing in the city and surrounding areas. While specific details about the office ambiance are not provided, one might expect a contemporary and functional environment conducive to legal work and client meetings. The presence of a suite number implies a degree of privacy and dedicated space for the firm's operations.

Based on the positive review mentioning assistance with "employment questions/concerns," it is highly probable that Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP specializes in various aspects of employment law. This could encompass a range of services for both employees and potentially employers, including:

  • Wrongful Termination: Representing individuals who believe they have been unfairly dismissed from their jobs in violation of employment laws or contracts.
  • Discrimination: Assisting clients who have experienced discrimination in the workplace based on factors such as race, gender, religion, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Corporate Abuse: Addressing situations involving unethical or illegal conduct by employers that negatively impacts employees.
  • Wage and Hour Disputes: Handling cases related to unpaid wages, overtime violations, and other Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) issues.
  • Employment Agreements and Contracts: Providing legal advice and drafting or reviewing employment agreements, non-compete clauses, and severance packages.
  • Whistleblower Protection: Representing employees who have reported illegal or unethical activities within their companies and faced retaliation.
  • HR Consulting and Compliance (potentially): Depending on their client base, the firm might also offer advisory services to employers on HR policies and compliance with employment laws.

It is important to note that while one review explicitly mentions employment-related assistance, the abrupt withdrawal from a complex employment dispute described in the negative review suggests that the firm may have specific criteria or capacity limitations for the types of cases they handle or continue to represent.

The features of Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP appear to be a subject of contrasting client experiences:

  • Professionalism and Personability (as per one review): One client described Nick May and his team as "highly professional, talented and personable individuals" who made them feel heard and valued, even lightening tough situations with humor. This suggests a client-friendly approach and a team that strives to create a positive interaction.
  • Responsiveness and Engagement (as per one review): The same positive review implies a team that is engaged with their clients and makes an effort to understand their concerns.
  • Potential for Abrupt Withdrawal (as per one review): A deeply disappointed client reported that the firm withdrew from their complex employment dispute after months of representation, citing reasons that felt disconnected from the core issues, leaving the client without representation at a critical juncture. This raises concerns about the firm's commitment to seeing complex cases through to the end.
  • Questionable Dedication to Justice (as per one review): The client who experienced the withdrawal expressed doubts about the firm's commitment to standing up for clients in complex and sensitive cases, suggesting a potential inconsistency in their dedication.

The stark contrast between these two reviews prevents a definitive characterization of the firm's features. While one client experienced professionalism and a positive rapport, another felt abandoned during a critical legal battle. This highlights the importance for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence and potentially seek further references or clarifications regarding the firm's approach to client representation, especially in complex matters.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided data. However, the positive testimonial, despite the existence of a negative one, could be seen as a form of positive word-of-mouth. For local users searching for "Lawyers Near Me" with employment-related legal needs, the mention of expertise in "employment questions/concerns" and the positive experience of one client might be a starting point for consideration. However, the serious concerns raised in the negative review warrant careful consideration and further investigation.

For individuals in Minneapolis and the surrounding areas seeking legal assistance with employment disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, or corporate abuse, Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP, located on Nicollet Mall, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While one client highlights their professionalism and personable approach, another recounts a deeply disappointing experience involving abrupt withdrawal from a complex case. Potential clients should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences and consider their own specific legal needs and the complexity of their situation when deciding whether to contact this firm.

To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP and determine if their services align with your specific legal needs, it is strongly recommended to contact their office directly at (612) 712-5485 or +1 612-712-5485. This will allow you to discuss your situation, ask detailed questions about their experience in handling cases similar to yours, and inquire about their policies and approach to client representation, particularly in complex and potentially lengthy legal battles. It would also be prudent to inquire about the circumstances under which the firm might withdraw from a case.

In conclusion, for those searching for "Lawyers Near Me" in Minneapolis for employment law matters, Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP offers a centrally located option. However, the significant divergence in client experiences, with one praising their professionalism and another expressing deep disappointment over an abrupt withdrawal from a complex case, necessitates careful consideration. Potential clients should conduct thorough due diligence and direct inquiries to the firm to assess whether their services and approach are the right fit for their individual needs and to address the concerns raised in the negative feedback.

My experience with Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP has been deeply disappointing. I hired them to represent me in a complex employment dispute involving wrongful termination, discrimination, and corporate abuse. Initially, I trusted them to stand by my side and help me fight for justice. However, after months of working together, the firm abruptly withdrew from my case, citing reasons that felt disconnected from the core issues. Rather than sticking by their client during a critical point, they left me without representation, forcing me to seek new legal help in the middle of an ongoing battle. I expected more professionalism and dedication to justice from a firm of this reputation. This experience has left me questioning their commitment to standing up for clients in complex and sensitive cases. If you're looking for a firm that will stand by you through thick and thin, Fabian May & Anderson, PLLP may not be the right choice.

They were not very friendly over the phone when trying to get a consultation in. The lady on the phone was uninterested in hearing what I was saying and wanted to hang up. When asked if my case seemed likely to take on, she said, "She couldn't discuss that with me," which is odd. She took the time to get information from me at the end when I asked this question, which it all felt very odd. A day later, I received an email stating the case wouldn't be taken for no particular reason, although I felt this was a strong case. I was given no advice, no effort put in, and not even a follow-up call, but an email which showed me how little they cared, and I was very polite. Left a terrible taste in my mouth to be dismissed, let alone, sent an email with no real clarification of why or what I should do rather than a phone call. Worst law firm.
