I am only reacting to the fact that this firm would take the time to defend their position by pointing a client to another website where there are positive reviews. I found that so laughable and grossly misplaced (an emoji could not do it justice)--the mark of true excellence is to display it everywhere, not just on certain websites. If a person should believe in your excellence, they should meet it a first glance, no matter where they look

Freed & Lerner Esqs Introduce

For individuals in New York City seeking legal representation through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Freed & Lerner Esqs, located at 38 West 32nd Street, New York, NY 10001, USA, is an option that may appear in search results. However, it is crucial for potential clients to carefully consider the available feedback from past clients before engaging their services. The limited reviews present significant concerns regarding the firm's communication practices and case management.

While information about the physical environment of Freed & Lerner Esqs is not provided in the reviews, its location on West 32nd Street in New York City suggests a standard office setting within a commercial area of Manhattan. Prospective clients can likely expect a typical law office environment for consultations, although the reviews do not offer any specific insights into the ambiance or facilities.

The specific legal services offered by Freed & Lerner Esqs are not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a law firm in New York City would handle various legal matters, but the feedback focuses solely on client experiences related to communication and case handling, rather than the types of law they practice. Therefore, it is not possible to objectively describe their service offerings based on the current information.

The features of Freed & Lerner Esqs, as perceived through the lens of the available reviews, raise significant concerns. One reviewer criticizes the firm's approach to showcasing positive feedback by directing potential clients to external websites, suggesting that evidence of excellence should be readily apparent across all platforms. This implies a lack of consistent positive experiences that the firm feels the need to selectively highlight.

The second review presents a far more serious indictment of the firm's practices. This client explicitly advises against hiring Freed & Lerner Esqs, citing firsthand experience of a lack of follow-up and updates. The reviewer states that the firm becomes "very agitated" when clients attempt to obtain information about their cases. A particularly alarming anecdote describes a lawyer's response to a client who had not received communication in a year, stating that there was no new information and therefore no need to call. This suggests a severe lack of proactive communication and client engagement, which is a fundamental aspect of legal representation.

Furthermore, the second reviewer alleges that Freed & Lerner Esqs was "responsible for over $100,000 in losses" due to dropping a case after years of waiting for a settlement. This is a grave accusation that potential clients should take very seriously. It indicates potential issues with case management, strategic decision-making, and ultimately, the ability to effectively represent their clients' interests, leading to significant financial detriment.

Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available reviews, there is no positive promotional information to extract about Freed & Lerner Esqs. The feedback serves as a cautionary note for individuals seeking legal representation in New York City. The absence of any positive testimonials within this limited dataset further underscores the concerns raised by the critical reviews.

In conclusion, based on the limited but strongly negative feedback available, potential clients searching for "Lawyers Near Me" in New York City should exercise extreme caution when considering Freed & Lerner Esqs. The reviews highlight significant issues regarding lack of communication, client mistreatment, and potentially detrimental case management. The absence of any positive feedback within this context is also noteworthy. Individuals seeking legal representation are strongly advised to thoroughly research other options and prioritize law firms with a demonstrated history of effective communication, diligent follow-up, and positive client outcomes. Contacting Freed & Lerner Esqs at (212) 684-7776 or +1 212-684-7776 for a consultation would provide an opportunity to directly assess their communication style and approach, but the serious allegations in the reviews warrant careful scrutiny and consideration of alternative legal counsel.

Stop. Please do not fall victim to this law firm. I know first hand that this law firm does not follow up, nor provide updates. They become very agitated if you call to try to obtain an update. I was present when one client called after a year of no communication and the lawyers response was there’s no new information so why should I call. I don’t think that any client should be treated this way and also believe that a lawyers responsibility is to touch base with its clients from time to time. This law firm is responsible for over $100,000 in losses for dropping a case after years of waiting to settle. So if you are looking for a law firm to represent you, I “strongly” suggest you “DO NOT ” hire this firm.

I am a former federal employee who lost has under gone surgery related to my injuries and a very dissatisfied client of Mr. Lerner. My case has dragged on for 6 years and still ongoing. In the 6 years of waiting I have not received more than 2 calls from my attorney and that’s because I called and asked to speak to him to try and obtain an update as to the progress of my case. Still no information. I made the mistake of switching by recommendation and it was a big and lengthy mistake. I will comment again in wat may very well be another 6 years. I am extremely dissatisfied up to date.
