I had an extremely frustrating experience with Goldberg & Lindenberg. From the very beginning, it was clear that Bob Goldberg lacked competence and professionalism. He frequently missed deadlines, made careless errors on legal fillings, and provided little to no guidance on timeline/expected outcomes regarding my civil case.. To make things worse, the office manager was consistently rude and dismissive when I raised concerns about The mishandling of my case. Instead of addressing my issues, she brushed me off and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with legal matters that require attention to detail and client care. I expected a certain standard of service when I hired this firm, but instead, I wasted time and money on people who didn’t seem to care about their clients or their work. I would strongly advise anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere for competent and respectful legal representation.

Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. Introduce

Navigating legal matters can be a complex and often stressful experience. When facing such challenges, finding the right legal representation nearby is crucial for achieving the best possible outcome. In the bustling metropolis of New York City, numerous law firms offer their expertise, and among them is Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C., located at 6 E 45th St, 14th floor, New York, NY 10017, USA. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C., drawing upon available information to offer an objective perspective on their environment, services, features, and client experiences.

Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. operates within the competitive legal landscape of New York City. Situated in Midtown Manhattan, their office at 6 East 45th Street places them in a central and accessible location for clients throughout the city and surrounding areas. The 14th-floor setting likely offers a professional environment conducive to legal consultations and work. While specific details about the office ambiance are not publicly available, it is reasonable to expect a standard professional office setting with meeting rooms for client consultations, workspaces for legal professionals, and administrative support areas.

Based on the limited information available, Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. appears to handle a range of legal matters. One client review specifically mentions assistance with "succession rights" and saving an apartment, indicating expertise in real estate law, particularly in areas concerning tenancy and inheritance. Another review references a "civil case," suggesting the firm also engages in civil litigation. These two contrasting experiences highlight the potential for varied areas of practice within the firm.

One of the key features of any law firm is the expertise and professionalism of its legal team. The positive review explicitly names "Sam Goldberg and Alan Goldberg" as the lawyers who successfully handled a case involving succession rights. This suggests that these individuals possess experience and knowledge in this specific area of real estate law. The negative review, however, mentions "Bob Goldberg" and raises concerns about his competence, professionalism, and handling of a civil case, including missed deadlines and errors in filings. This discrepancy in client experiences underscores the importance of considering individual lawyer expertise within a firm.

Client experiences, as reflected in online reviews, offer valuable insights into the quality of service provided by Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. The two available reviews present a stark contrast. One client expresses extreme dissatisfaction, citing a lack of competence, unprofessionalism, missed deadlines, errors, and poor communication from both the lawyer (Bob Goldberg) and the office manager. This negative feedback raises concerns about the firm's overall client care and attention to detail in certain cases.

Conversely, the other review is highly positive, praising the work of Sam Goldberg and Alan Goldberg in achieving a favorable outcome related to succession rights. This positive testimonial suggests that other lawyers within the firm may provide competent and effective legal representation, particularly in specific areas of their expertise. It's important for potential clients to recognize that experiences can vary depending on the specific lawyer assigned to their case.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive and universally positive or negative assessment of Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. The available information suggests that the firm may have lawyers with expertise in specific areas, such as real estate and succession rights, who have delivered positive results for their clients. However, there are also documented instances of significant dissatisfaction regarding professionalism, competence, and client communication with at least one lawyer within the firm.

For local users in New York City seeking legal representation, particularly in areas related to real estate (including succession rights) or civil litigation, Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. is an option to consider. Their Midtown Manhattan location offers accessibility. However, given the mixed client feedback, potential clients should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This might include seeking further reviews or testimonials, inquiring specifically about the experience and track record of the lawyer who would be handling their case, and discussing communication protocols and expected timelines upfront.

It is crucial for individuals seeking legal assistance to feel confident in their chosen representation. The negative review highlights the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and professional conduct in legal proceedings. While the positive review demonstrates the potential for successful outcomes, the concerns raised in the negative review should not be dismissed lightly.

As a platform connecting users with local lawyers, "Lawyers Near Me" aims to provide comprehensive information to aid in making informed decisions. In the case of Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C., the available information paints a nuanced picture. While the firm has seemingly achieved positive results for some clients in specific areas of law, the reported negative experiences regarding other lawyers and administrative staff warrant careful consideration.

Prospective clients may find it beneficial to schedule an initial consultation to discuss their specific legal needs and assess the lawyer's experience, communication style, and understanding of their case. Asking detailed questions about the lawyer's track record in similar cases and seeking references, if possible, could provide further clarity. Ultimately, the decision to engage Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. should be based on a thorough evaluation of their individual needs and a careful consideration of the available information, including both positive and negative feedback.

In conclusion, Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C., located in Midtown Manhattan, offers legal services in New York City. Based on available client reviews, the firm appears to have achieved success in areas such as real estate law, specifically succession rights, with lawyers like Sam Goldberg and Alan Goldberg receiving positive commendation. However, there are also significant concerns raised about the competence and professionalism of at least one other lawyer within the firm, as well as issues with office management. Local users considering Goldberg & Lindenberg, P.C. should proceed with caution, conduct thorough research, and prioritize clear communication and a strong sense of confidence in their chosen legal representation.

This firm really helped me. I worked with Sam Goldberg and Alan Goldberg. The two lawyers that were in charge of my case. They save my apartment and got me succession rights. I strongly recommend them.

Facing a landlord-tenant issue and after reading many positive internet reviews, we made an appointment to meet Alan Goldberg. He may indeed be a fine lawyer, we'll never know. Instead, we met with Robert Goldberg, who we readily identified from Romeo Rivera's apt one-star review as the "bald guy wearing a t-shirt..who kept falling asleep ...".We had two unfortunate meetings with him--At the first meeting, after briefly explaining our situation and reviewing our papers, we were pleased Robert suggested a path to negotiate that did not involve going to court. We were confident in his legal abilities -or that is before he drifted away into a lengthy reviverie about to Kill A Mockingbird. While we tried to discuss the details of our situation Robert applied them to the fictional trial in Harper Lee's book and wouldn't answer our questions. His eyes kept shutting and he aimlessly shuffled papers. Everyone has bad days, it was hot, it was late afternoon, so I decided to try and speak with Alan to voice my concerns and to meet with him. Alan spoke, he had no desire to meet with us, suggested Robert had been temporarily unwell and to give him a second chance. Depending on this meeting, I was willing to negotiate for an hour of his time. If that went well, I would have no problem paying the fee. We wanted to feel confident that we agreed on a strategy he could execute. At the second meeting, Robert seemed more befuddled. This time he had no comprehension or memory of the case, misstating it as a lease dispute and no memory of discussing whether or not negotiation was warranted. His fees, however, were non-negotiable. The initial fee for out of court cases was set in stone. Robert informed us their court cases would be several thousand dollars. When we questioned what he would do for the out-of-court fee, nuzzling four figures, he couldn't tell us that beyond, if we wanted, he could call our landlord for us. Then he went off on another rift--this one addressed to my very adult daughter, and had it been a younger man, singularly inappropriate. Our first meeting gave indications of the masterly lawyer Robert may be. Six days later, He could not recognize the issue and identify a path forward. It became quickly evident, and more so the second time, that he needs strong team support. He is probably an excellent and knowledgeable legal resource and strategist. I would like to feel that I would chose well in retaining Goldberg Lindeberg, with a strong sense of confidence in Robert Goldberg as my lawyer, instead I left, believing the firm is not interested in my business and that Robert is their unfortunate pointman.

Mr. Goldberg is truly a special person. It is because of HIM that I have a Home. Not a day goes by that I don't say thank God for him. Each and every day. One of the most important parts of life is peace of mind. Alan Goldberg has provided that for me. I'm deeply grateful.

I wish I didn’t have to come all the way here then wait 50mins to be seen and to talk to an attorney that couldn’t wait to leave the office, she told me I should find someone cheaper and made me feel hopeless about my case. I looked forward for this appointment for weeks and the 10 minutes experience with her just made everything worse.
