Where to start ? I was introduced to The Margolis Law Firm by my wonderful Boss Matt. It’s started with a video call with Jeff and Igor in the office, It’s followed with a meeting with Scott. Scott was very welcoming along with Igor they made me very comfortable. I honestly feel like The Margolis Law Firm is like a family. Jeff was very understanding and accommodated me to help with my family immigration. Igor availability is unmatched he kept me on the loop about everything and he was very transparent. Scott Goldsmith at The Margolis Law Firm is the best lawyer I have ever worked with, by a long shot. He committed painstaking effort over the course of 2.5 years to successfully secure green cards for my wife and son, while maintaining very reasonable payment policies, and generally showing outstanding thoughtfulness and customer service. He went above and beyond several times over the course of this period, proactively calling USCIS on my behalf (even when I didn't ask him to), analyzing several tricky travel situations my family faced, saving my wife's re-entry into the US from Canada when she only had her work permit, and securing emergency appointments for my son to be able to travel to his native Brazil twice while we were still in the green card waiting period. He was always available on the phone and by email morning and night, often at odd hours (Scott is known to respond to Sunday evening emails within minutes, and even once answered an early morning call from me when I was facing international airport checkin in a crisis). Most importantly, at the end of all of this, Scott got the job done and now my family members have their paperwork and are legal in the US. Scott is a straight shooter and direct communicator, and will always give you realistic, practical advice. In a world full of egotistical lawyers and people who beat around the bush, Scott is so good, so thorough and cares so much for humanity, that it's not only refreshing but actually shocking. This country needs more unselfish, candid and effective legal professionals that act with heart for their clients like him.
