The firm's address in a professional suite on Briargate Boulevard suggests a typical law office environment, designed to be conducive to private and sensitive discussions. While specific details about the interior design or atmosphere are not publicly available, client testimonials offer insights into the firm's approach to client interaction. One review highlights "infinite patience and respect" from an attorney, which indicates an environment where clients might feel supported during often difficult and emotionally charged legal processes. However, another review expresses concerns about perceived lack of care and communication, suggesting that client experience may vary. This indicates that while the physical space is likely professional, the firm's client interaction style is a key factor to consider.

  • Wills and Trusts: Although not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, elder law firms typically handle the drafting of wills, various types of trusts, and other estate planning documents to ensure clients' wishes are honored and assets are protected.
  • Guardianship and Conservatorship: It is common for elder law practices to assist in establishing legal arrangements for the care of incapacitated adults.

The firm aims to help clients "manage through probate court" and "navigate family issues in the throes of the loss of a loved one," indicating a focus on providing comprehensive support during what can be a challenging period for families.

Features and Unique Advantages
  • Expertise in Elder Law: A key feature of Gould Whitley & Garrison, as highlighted by client feedback, is their "deep expertise in eldercare law." This specialized knowledge is crucial for handling the nuanced legal issues that seniors and their families face.
  • Individual Attorney Strengths (Wayna Marshall): Attorney Wayna Marshall is specifically commended in a positive review for her "deep expertise," "infinite patience and respect," and her compassionate approach. This suggests that individual attorneys within the firm may possess particular strengths and client-handling styles that resonate strongly with certain clients. Her ability to guide clients through "the toughest times" and her professionalism are noted as significant advantages.
  • Guidance Through Complex Systems: The firm's ability to help clients understand and manage through "all the complexities of Medicare, Medicaid," and "probate court" is a valuable feature, as these systems can be overwhelming for individuals to navigate on their own.
  • Long-Standing Presence: While the current business name in the provided information is Gould Whitley & Garrison, other public records suggest a historical connection to "Gould & Whitley Attorneys at Law" which has been listed as a Colorado Springs Estate Planning and Wills Law Firm since at least 2009, with a business started in 1993. This longevity in the legal community suggests a stable and experienced practice.
Promotional Information and Client Feedback Considerations

For individuals in Colorado Springs seeking assistance with elder law, estate planning, or probate matters, Gould Whitley & Garrison presents itself as a firm with specialized knowledge. The positive testimonial for attorney Wayna Marshall is particularly strong, highlighting her professionalism, compassion, and effectiveness in assisting clients through difficult legal and emotional challenges related to their senior loved ones' estates and care.

The review that praised Wayna Marshall expressed profound gratitude, stating, "I could not have gotten through all the challenges of losing my dad and managing through the legal issues without her. I will be eternally grateful for such a professional, compassionate attorney like Wayna and recommend her very highly for any family who needs help with their elder loved one." This kind of feedback underscores the profound impact a supportive and knowledgeable attorney can have during sensitive times.

However, potential clients should also be aware of varied feedback. Another review presents a critical perspective, asserting that the attorney (presumably Wayna Marshall, given the context of the firm and the specific services mentioned) "only cared about receiving money" and acted unethically by listening in on a private phone call without permission and filing a court petition with "non truths." This client also felt attacked and believed their mother paid the consequences. This negative review highlights serious concerns regarding attorney conduct, transparency, and client care. It suggests that while some clients experience exceptional support, others may encounter issues with communication, ethical conduct, or a perceived lack of genuine concern for the client's best interests.

When considering Gould Whitley & Garrison, prospective clients are advised to conduct thorough due diligence. It would be prudent to inquire about the firm's specific communication policies, how they handle client concerns, and to discuss expectations for transparency and ethical conduct during the initial consultation. Understanding that experiences can vary is important for making an informed decision. You can contact Gould Whitley & Garrison at (719) 531-0994 or +1 719-531-0994. Their office is located at 1665 Briargate Blvd Ste 101, Colorado Springs, CO 80920, USA. Engaging with legal professionals requires careful consideration, and reviewing all available information can help in choosing the right fit for your specific elder law or estate planning needs.

I don't feel that Wayna cared for my mother. In my opinion, she only cared about receiving money. She listened in on a private phone call without my permission. She didn't seems to mind filing a court petition with non truths. She didn't seem to mind being a vehicle to attack me for another individual with my mother paying the consequences. There is more to say about the bad treatment but I will leave it at that.
