Jun 06, 2025 · Megan BlandWe appreciated that all of the closing statement figures were correct in the first draft, and we thought that Chelsea was always accessible to address our questions. Our closing was very efficiently administered, with clear explanations for each document we were being asked to sign. All in all, a very professional and friendly experience.
Jun 03, 2025 · William NicholsonAfter reading all of the bad reviews with very similar issues I'm really not sure Jon cares enough to waste anymore of my time with this place but it's well deserved . I'll start with Jennifer , I called and emailed her several times and got no response. We were told we were waiting in Carolina realty for several days in regards to a payoff only to find out the day I called it was just requested that day and handled around 11:30 the next day . Before it was sent at 11:30 we received an email from Jennifer saying she had not received it which is what made me call only to find out it was done . I immediately let Jennifer know but got no response until I left an uglier message than I wanted to about 6:30 in the evening . At 9:14 last night she sends an email saying she received it but it's not correct and she didn't know why . My immediate email back was have you called or emailed to let them know but again it was ignored again until this morning at 9:30 saying we can come in anytime after 12:00 today to close . We arrive at 3:00 today after rushing out of my home today and spending over $1000 on an air and b only to find out the buyer isn't closing until Monday the ninth . The lack of communication which is this persons primary job is unacceptable and cost us a lot of grief and money and pain being I had hernia surgery yesterday . We could have stayed in our home until Monday and I could have had more time to heal but I was told at the very last minute closing was today and that was not just bad communication it was a lie that they were very aware of because I was told from the guy that signed us up within the first few minutes of being there. Our realtor will also be writing a review, and I seriously doubt he'll ever recommend your law firm to any client in the future. Buying and selling a house should be a happy life experience and this incident(s) have tainted the entire experience.
Jun 05, 2025 · Brian RichardsonAs the seller I am not happy how the proceed was distributed. The sale was closed on 5/13, but I just received the UPS package on 5/23. The check was dated 5/13, but UPS had the package until the night of 5/15. Then check was mailed via UPS ground. We were charged $60 as it is supposed to mail via next day air. I should receive the check on 5/14. It is not acceptable for this long delay. If it was not mailed by next day air, then I should be refunded. I wrote an email and complained about the delay when I saw the tracking. I was told it was a hicuup from UPS. How could UPS ship next day air when UPS ground label was on the package? I sent an email and feedback after I received the package. My agent also sent an email. NO RESPONSE! Update on 6/5 - The managing partner Jon Hankin contacted me via email on this matter right after I posted the review. They took the matter very seriously with corrective actions. Honestly, I am quite surprised because I would not ask for it. I can see he has high standards and prioritizes customers satisfactory. I would go to them if I purchase a property in the area. Thank you and way to go!
Jun 06, 2025 · Jane GuoIn the numerous closures I have had they made the process completely painless. The prep work and hand holding along the way ensured a flawless and quick closing. 20 minutes then discussing good golf course played. Excellent service from first contact to closing.
