Setup a consultation, wasn't informed it was an over-the-phone appointment, showed up and the location looked to be under construction. It's understandable and reasonable that they would need to do over-the-phone because this place was NOT appropriate or safe for in-person meetings. We were then told that the lawyer was called away to court earlier that morning and not going to be back in time for our meeting. This was after we arrived, 10min before our scheduled time. Even if it was over-the-phone, we should have been informed he wouldn't be available and needed to reschedule but they didn't notify us until we were there in-person. We filled out some forms and were told that he would contact us later that afternoon. That "consultation" was Wednesday of last week and it's now Monday. I called to figure out what happened and the lady I spoke with again (same one I scheduled with and we spoke to last week) acted like she couldn't even remember who I was. She just said he will try and call you later today. I do not feel comfortable with this situation at all! The forms they had us fill out asked for private information (I would expect to fill out for an attorney) but seeing as how we've never even laid eyes on the "attorney" and they are INCREDIBLY disorganized and chaotic I'm not comfortable with the situation.
For individuals in the Fort Worth area seeking legal representation and utilizing the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, it is important to have access to objective information about potential legal service providers. This overview focuses on Heise Law Firm, P.C., located at 312 W Cannon St, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA, and is based on recent customer experiences publicly shared online.
Based on a recent review, the physical environment of Heise Law Firm, P.C. at the time of a scheduled consultation appeared to be under construction. The reviewer noted that the location seemed "NOT appropriate or safe for in-person meetings," which led them to understand the potential need for over-the-phone appointments. This suggests that the physical office space may have been undergoing renovations or was otherwise not in a state conducive to client meetings at a particular point in time. Potential clients considering an in-person visit may want to inquire about the current status of the office environment.
The available reviews provide limited information regarding the specific legal services offered by Heise Law Firm, P.C. One review details a negative experience related to a scheduled consultation, where the attorney was reportedly called away to court unexpectedly. This incident does not directly specify the attorney's area of practice. The other review offers a brief and strongly negative sentiment without detailing the nature of the legal issue or the services sought. Consequently, based solely on this publicly available information, it is not possible to accurately determine the firm's areas of specialization. Potential clients will need to contact the firm directly to inquire about their expertise in areas such as criminal defense, family law, personal injury, business law, estate planning, or any other legal field.
The primary features highlighted in the recent customer experiences relate to the scheduling and execution of a consultation, as well as the firm's communication and organization. One reviewer detailed several issues, including: being informed of an over-the-phone appointment only upon arriving in person; the attorney being unavailable due to a last-minute court appearance without prior notification; a lack of follow-up after filling out forms during the in-person visit; and the staff member seemingly not recalling the reviewer during a follow-up phone call. These points suggest potential challenges in the firm's scheduling procedures, communication protocols, and overall organization, at least during the timeframe of this particular experience.
Another review expresses strong dissatisfaction, alleging a lack of communication from the attorney and questioning their willingness to advocate for clients. This review is brief but raises concerns about the firm's responsiveness and commitment to client representation, in the opinion of this particular individual.
Given the nature of the available feedback, there is no positive promotional information to extract from these recent customer experiences. Instead, the reviews highlight potential areas of concern for prospective clients, particularly regarding communication, organization, and the reliability of scheduled appointments. These accounts serve as cautionary tales and underscore the importance of thorough research and direct communication when selecting legal counsel.

Apr 03, 2023 · Dallyse SharberTerrible! Doesn’t even have balls to call. Not someone who will fight for you. Spread the word.
Apr 02, 2025 · JJ PinedaI hired this dude to represent me in my divorce. When we went to mediation he did all the communicating with the opposing Lawyer. He told me that they would not agree on anything and would have to set a court date to go in for a hearing and see the Judge. After mediation, my husband and I talked and he informed me that he was willing to pretty much give me everything, and exactly what he was offering me. That is not what the lawyer had told me. He made it seem like my husband was not agreeing on anything, or cooperating. I paid a retainer fee up front to this SCAM ARTIST! 12/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Sep 23, 2021 · Angie YarbroughI used this firm in order to have representation during my divorce, but I was very displeased with his services. There was a lot of communication in the beginning when I sent $3000 as the retainer but slowly communication became almost non existent. I was due to go to court in October of last year and I received a call the day off to” remind” me. I had sent emails asking what the next steps were because I hadn’t heard anything and I received no response. The day of court I was told that they’d sent the letter via mail but I never received it. Mr. Heise decided thirty minutes to one hour before court to try and prep me. I was floored! He was unprepared and did a horrible job of representing someone that he only read a narrative on and spent less than 20 minutes with. Then I received a bill stating that I owe more money! Attorney’s are legal scammers. I believe they made up charges in order to get more money. This firm is trash and if you can help it don’t use them for your legal representation. You may as well do it yourself!!!
Mar 17, 2022 · India SamuelSeemed very understanding and compassionate. Only asked for advice by using the TX Bar $30 consultation, totally gave wrong advice, then he wants to charge $12,000.00 for a protection order! Which I didn't get, because mainly I already had one. Many conversations were me repeating myself. Only costed $500 for the first protection order. My mom had confidence in him. I ended up doing alot of work and stress i didnt end up needing to do, the judge only heard part of the case..the part Chris Heisse wasn't prepared for. But he really did seem nice and pretty good about getting the details onto paper. We asked for some of the 4500 back and instead charged another 6200.00 6 weeks later and didn't even reply to the request. Only good outcome was it also costed my ex 5000 to pay a Texan lawyer and he had to travel from another state to fight it, but now we owe more than double! Hire a different attorney! His advice should've simply been to hire a lawyer from the state in which I fled. I only wanted true advice on how best to proceed with limited funds and my situation..My mother only had credit card funds. And he took 4500 on day 1. Now its caused a battle with my mother the one person who wanted to help me and my daughter finally get out of the wrath. Impossible to pay her back plus retain another lawyer. Makes me wonder if I should've just stayed with the abuser. ..well actually money was the main reason I put up with the abuse for as long as I did.. funny thing is..after we were so far along his own paralegal said we didn't really need this new order.. I'm planning to file formal complaint with the BAR. Unless his Christmas card has a refund check in it! Bad business. Far worse than I ever imagined. Not very compassionate or understanding it turns out. Hope this helps your decision!
