Beyond CPS cases, the firm also handles a broader scope of family law matters, including general issues involving the parent-child relationship, grandparent access, and child support. The reviews emphasize her direct and honest communication style, with one client stating that "Janeen told me what I needed to do and was HONEST regardless of how blunt she had to be. Furthermore, her proactive advice, such as instructing a client to call her immediately if CPS showed up again, highlights her commitment to continued protection and advocacy for her clients and their families even after a case is resolved.

The firm's focus on building rapport and trust, especially with children in child welfare cases, is also a notable feature. Ms. Hopkins is described as being willing to "listen and be willing to get down on the floor and play in order to build trust with the most vulnerable of clients." This personalized approach ensures that even the youngest clients feel comfortable and heard, which is vital for effective representation in sensitive family matters.

A TRUE BLESSING !!!!!! I had a cps case and was about to lose my children to the state, the worst feeling I ever had !!! Janeen told me what I needed to do and was HONEST regardless of how blunt she had to be. I loved it, she did not sugar coat anything, she told me how it was. So if you can't take bluntness and accept you're the one that made the mistakes that would be the only reason I would say look elsewhere. BUT if you want your cps case taken care this IS THE WOMAN PERIOD !!!!!!!!! She actually cares about you and your FAMILY. And she was my court appointed lawyer. After the case was dismissed she told me if cps shows up for any reason DO NOT let them in, shut the door and call her immediately and she would take care of MY FAMILY and I. A WONDERFUL WOMEN. This IS THE 1 AND ONLY WOMAN I WOULD RECOMMEND. Z. Lance
