While talking, he kept checking his phone as if I was disturbing him. I booked and paid $99 for a 30-minute consultation. 18 min before the appointment, his assistant called to move the appointment to 30 minutes later, and I agreed. Six minutes into the new time, Mr Kanu finally logged into the Zoom meeting while driving and asked if he could do the meeting or call me when he got to the office in 5 minutes. He lacked a bedside manner and kept addressing my husband instead of me; I would never recommend him 👎

What we thought would be a simple process dragged on for years. My wife and I grew desperate, because we felt the attorney we were using at the time didn’t care. Every time we tried to reach our attorney for updates or questions, we were directed to a different person in their firm, but we rarely talked to our actual attorney. Every time we talked to them they said the same thing - nothing we can do but wait. It would also take a long time for them to get back to us. We were tired of waiting - so we decided to search for a different attorney and found Mr Kanu. We scheduled a meeting and provided him with all the information. He was kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I liked the fact that he was accessible to us if we had questions and his team was always quick to respond. We retained Mr Kanu, and he requested all our files from the prior attorney. Within less than a year of transferring our case to Mr.Kanu we got the green card that was delayed in processing for over 60months because of this creative and experienced approach. Even before the green card he made sure we had work permits because he knows what immigrants go through while in limbo waiting for the government to make a decision. There is no better lawyer.
