I read one of your reviews by a drfmemon. Apparently you fired a client because he was acting “unethical” and you didn’t give back his money. Well was it “unethical” or “illegal”? Cause so many clients are unethical. I mean how are we to trust you? You might accuse us of acting unethical and take our money. And you apparently fired him a day before his trial date? That is cruel man. Also why’re you telling us he acted unethically? Doesn’t that break lawyer-client privilege? And apparently it was some sort of company tribunal and not a legal case. Who cares if he acted unethically? You took his money and didn’t give it back when you quit. You quit a day before his hearing! He might’ve acted “unethically”, but it was not a court/legal case. Just some dumb hearing before a committee. You sir are why lawyers have a bad reputation. You broke fiduciary. You cannot be trusted.

While specific details about the interior environment of the office are not provided, law firms in such locations typically maintain a business-like atmosphere, designed to facilitate focused legal consultations. Based on the provided information, the core services offered by the Law Office of Dan E. Martens are not explicitly detailed in a service list. However, insights can be gleaned from the client reviews. One positive review praises Dan Martens for "getting control of my situation" and knowing "what was needed to move forward," suggesting a practice that deals with complex legal issues requiring strategic planning and follow-through. The mention of working with a "different attorney the previous year and got nowhere" implies that the firm handles cases where clients might be facing challenging or stalled legal battles. The positive review also highlights the collaborative effort with an associate, Stephen Dobbs, noting they "worked together as a team." This indicates that the firm operates with a team-based approach, potentially offering a broader scope of legal expertise or more robust support for complex cases. Given the context of a "company tribunal" mentioned in a critical review, it's possible the firm handles various forms of dispute resolution, potentially including corporate or professional disciplinary hearings, alongside more traditional legal litigation. Without an explicit list, it's challenging to enumerate all specific services, but the reviews suggest a firm involved in active legal representation and problem-solving.
The features of the Law Office of Dan E. Martens, as perceived by clients, are a mixture of strong advocacy and areas that have drawn criticism. The positive review underscores features such as being "very up front with what needed to be done" and consistent follow-up, indicating a proactive and transparent approach to client communication and case management. The reviewer's statement that "there was no short cuts and he knew what was needed to move foreword" suggests a thorough and dedicated legal strategy. The team-oriented approach with Stephen Dobbs is also presented as a positive feature, indicating comprehensive support for clients.
However, a critical review highlights significant concerns about the firm's practices and ethics. This review directly quotes a previous review (by "drfmemon") and raises questions about client trust and professional conduct. The main points of contention include the firm allegedly firing a client a day before a "company tribunal" hearing, retaining the client's money, and allegedly disclosing that the client acted "unethical." The reviewer expresses strong doubts about the firm's trustworthiness, stating, "how are we to trust you? You might accuse us of acting unethical and take our money." The critical review also questions whether disclosing a client's "unethical" behavior violates lawyer-client privilege and fiduciary duties, concluding with "You broke fiduciary. You cannot be trusted." It also makes a point about the nature of the hearing, clarifying it was not a formal "court/legal case" but "just some dumb hearing before a committee." These criticisms suggest a perception by at least one individual that the firm’s actions in specific circumstances might undermine client confidence, particularly concerning the handling of client relationships, fees, and confidentiality. These differing client experiences paint a varied picture of the firm's operational features and client interactions.
In terms of promotional information, the Law Office of Dan E. Martens provides direct contact details. The firm's primary phone number is (972) 335-3888, and a mobile phone number, +1 972-335-3888, is also provided. The availability of both a landline and a mobile number suggests an effort to be accessible to clients. While there's no mention of specific marketing campaigns, websites, or social media presence in the provided information, the firm's listing on platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" serves as a direct form of promotion, allowing potential clients to find and evaluate their services. The client reviews, both positive and critical, also act as a form of public information that influences perception and decision-making for those searching for legal assistance. The positive review encourages recommendation, stating, "I would recommend this law firm," which is a strong form of organic promotion. Conversely, the negative review serves as a cautionary tale, also acting as a form of public information that potential clients will consider when evaluating the firm.

Oct 19, 2024 · adam meciaI was very happy with Dan Martens work and getting control of my situation which I had worked with a different attorney the previous year and got no where. He was very up front with what needed to be done and he followed up on it. There was no short cuts and he knew what was needed to move foreword.. The same is with his associate, Stephen Dobbs, as they worked together as a team. I would recommend this law firm .
Apr 29, 2020 · Gus AlbrechtI have worked with many different lawyers over the past 20 years and attorney Martens is one of the best that I have hired. He is very honest, straight talking and gets the job done quickly. There is no substitute for his years of experience. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal help.
Feb 08, 2020 · Sheri TannerMr. Martens was able to walk us through the legal real estate situation we currently find us in, give us advice going forward, and has offered his services in the future should they prove necessary. His prices are affordable, he is extremely responsive, and his office staff are professional and punctual. I highly recommend Mr. Martens for legal real estate needs.
Jul 09, 2021 · Megan IafrateWARNING: Do not hire! He is the most rude and unprofessional lawyer I have ever hired. He lets his emotions take the better of him. If he can’t control his emotions he can’t handle your case. He is a fraud who will take your money. He charges $5000 to work on your case, and then actually causes more damage to your case through his incompetence. You’ll then have to hire another lawyer, whom you’ll have to pay extra to undo the damages caused by Daniel Martens.
