be careful about this evil man. he sold me to stornger side! he was my attorney but worked 100% for the otherside. He destroyed my life, my children lives! what he cares is MONEY/ FUTURE OPPERTUNITY. You took the words right out of my mouth. He did the same thing to me. He made all these promises then sold me out to the other side. This is unethical. He was friends with the other attorney. He puts the pressure on you/his own client the day if court and makes you think your getting a better deal or an equal deal but when you look at the final papers you sign (which he says just trust me just sign here) it is nothing like what was promised. And you are supposed to trust your lawyer. Do not trust this one. Please please don't let him rush you into signing anything. Me and my girls trusted this man. He took our money thats all we got. I finally dismissed him as my lawyer. There is something really suspisious about this lawyer. I am also filing a complaint against with with the Mecklenburg Bar Association and The State Bar Association. Hope others do also.

Promotions or Special Offers

In the legal profession, it is uncommon for law firms to advertise "promotions" or "special offers" in the same way retail businesses might. This is largely due to ethical regulations governing legal advertising and the nature of legal services, which are highly individualized and depend on the specifics of each case. Legal fees are typically structured based on factors such as the complexity of the case, the time required, the experience of the attorney, and the potential outcome.

However, what clients in North Carolina can expect from the Law Offices of David P. Sheehan, PLLC, as with many reputable law firms, is a commitment to transparent fee structures and initial consultations.

  • Initial Consultation: Many law firms, including potentially the Law Offices of David P. Sheehan, PLLC, offer initial consultations. These consultations can be either free or provided at a reduced rate. They serve as a crucial opportunity for prospective clients to discuss their legal matter, understand potential legal strategies, and inquire about the firm’s fee structure without a significant upfront financial commitment. This allows both the client and the attorney to determine if there is a good fit before formal engagement.

  • Transparent Fee Structures: Reputable firms strive to be clear about their billing practices. This could involve hourly rates, flat fees for specific services, or contingency fees in certain types of cases (e.g., personal injury), where the attorney's fee is a percentage of the recovery. During the initial consultation, clients should feel comfortable discussing and understanding how their legal services will be billed.

For any legal matter, choosing a lawyer involves not just looking at convenience and stated services but also deeply trusting their integrity and commitment to your best interests.
