Mar 19, 2025 · MelI’m a single father who just spent the last 10 months fighting for my daughters. Aug 11, 2023 · Beaux BlackwoodWe hired Mr Meth to replace another lawyer to represent us in a civil case. It was an absolute horrific experience. They are great until you sign the retainer, then forget about it. The first thing he did was forget to file the paperwork to notify the other party he was representing us. The hardest he worked for us was on the motion to refute the dismissal motion brought by them. After years of waiting for our court date, as I read below as he has done to others, he did ZERO preparation for our case. We had video evidence he never once looked at. We went into court cold. To start, he shows up to Court nearly an hour late. Then shows up looking like he rolled out of bed. He was wearing a very old suit that was way too big. Simply put, how he looked was unprofessional and embarrassing. Then get to presenting our evidence, the judge was furious over all the video we presented. Mr Meth's comment afterwards to us was "MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SHOWN AS MUCH AS YOU DID". Are you kidding me! Thats what we were paying him for. What lawyer goes to court never reviewing their client's evidence? THIS ONE! In the end, my wife and I had to sit in the Judges chambers to settle the case. He said absolutely nothing and contributed absolutely nothing. BEWARE! Do yourself a favor and do not use this man's services.

Jan 19, 2025 · JC NovelloThe first family court hearing I had retained Mr. Meth for went fantastic. We spoke on the phone several times and I had spoke with and met the paralegals in his office and they were a pleasure. Going into the hearing, while extremely nervous, I was confident that Mr. Meth had every ounce of information he needed to properly represent me. Second hearing didn’t go that way. I was not able to reach anyone by text or phone until 5 days before the hearing. I have messages and call logs as far back as 6 weeks prior to trial I initiated contact. After only a few brief, very rushed phone calls 1 and 2 days before the hearing, there was zero proper preparation. In the hearing, it showed. Mr. Meth had stated a few things that were quite inaccurate and when others made inaccurate statements, did not say anything. I read back through statements, documents and letters I had provided and I’m not sure how he came up with the inaccurate statements made. There was also information regarding the children and the foster family that I had also provided originally in my initial conversation with Mr. Meth as it seemed it was a major point in whether to file a petition or not which after the hearing he said he was unaware of. He at that time told me the judge very clearly insinuated she was dismissing my case after the trial on 12/20 and while I was on the phone dictated an email to the other attorney saying I would drop my petition if I could have visits. The judge had suggested that the attorneys try to talk about possible visits. The email was not sent and when I asked about it I was advised by Mr. Meth he was working on visits for me. I decided to go into the trial alone since I was already advised by my counsel that my petition was going to be dismissed I felt I had nothing to lose. Mr. Meth did come and try to be there with me as he felt it was not in my best interest to do it myself. That was appreciated. I did go by myself and am glad I did. As an aside, I want to say Mr. Meth came highly recommended by a friend who got full custody of his daughter with Mr. Meth’s representation. I get it’s crazy times and so many are short staffed and incredibly overwhelmed. While this happened this ONE time, based on my friend’s experience it’s clearly doesn’t happen every time.
