My prior review from 2017 seems to somehow been deleted-copying it here. When you have just been in an auto accident that was not your fault and which has caused significant physical injuries, the last thing you need and want is more stress added to your life. Instead, your biggest priority should be to focus on your health and healing. When I decided to hire the lawfirm of Joel Kofsky to represent me, I made the wrong decision which I regret. I want to say right away that I strongly do not recommend choosing them to represent you. My accident was a very clear-cut case, one that many lawyers I am sure dream about. The other driver admitted fault, I had substantial injuries, my car was totaled, I had witnesses to the accident; this is a case that SHOULD have moved along smoothly and in an extremely timely manner. This was not what happened with the Kofsky lawfirm representing me. I did my due diligence to research lawyers and from my initial consultation with Joel, I thought I was going to be in good hands. He took my call on a Sunday while he was at home and I thought this was a good sign. Unfortunately, my experience with this lawfirm was largely defined by an extreme lack of and ineffective communication when they did return my calls. It was months until I even figured out which lawyer was assigned and I only figured out this information because I called to ask them. To be clear, during the year that followed my accident, only once did they call me first without me requesting that they call me. I called every few months to check in because every step of the way I was completely in the dark. I know that my case moved slowly, not because the process was slow, but because the lawfirm was extremely slow in its dealings with my case. To put this into perspective, at one year after my accident, the lawfirm had still failed to request a copy of the accident police report, they had not contacted any of the accident witnesses, had not retrieved loss of wages documentation, they had not given me a copy of my contract with them, and they still had not retrieved medical records from 47 of my appointments even after multiple conversations reminding them to do so. As if all of this was not enough, right before this one year mark they asked me to do work on my case even though they were going to get paid more than enough when my case was settled. The tough position I was in, however, is that while I knew I could say no to doing work I was paying them to do, I did not trust them to do the work. I had attended over 100 appointments in a year’s time as a result of the accident. They asked me to submit to them all of the receipts, paperwork, and appt dates, info. I was paying them to gather especially since I informed them by email every time I saw a new physician. It is no surprise that I never received responses to these emails and then was asked to provide this information at other times as if I had never provided it before. To put my case into further perspective--my now boyfriend was in an accident a year after me and he had pre-existing conditions. I had no pre-existing conditions at the time of my accident and (coincidentally) we received our settlement checks the same week. His lawyer called him at every turn and communicated very clearly; this was not the case with the Kofsky law firm and my case. Even though in my case the other insurance settled very quickly (within weeks after we said we were going to sue them) and although we immediately reached their policy limit, it took a total of four months after I agreed to accept the settlement to get the check in my hand. It took less than one month for my boyfriend to receive his settlement check after settling. Although Mr. Kofsky did grant me a fee reduction, in my opinion it was the least he could do for the awful experience. Even when I expressed concerns, things never really changed with how they handled my case and how I was treated.

Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys Introduce

When searching for legal representation after an injury in Philadelphia, platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" can be a starting point. One such firm listed is "Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys," located at 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd #550, Philadelphia, PA 19102, USA, and reachable by phone at (215) 735-4800 or +1 215-735-4800. This firm specializes in personal injury cases, aiming to assist individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence of others.

The environment of Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys, situated in a prominent boulevard in Philadelphia, likely reflects a professional setting typical of law offices. Located in a commercial building, clients can expect a space designed for consultations and case management. However, specific details about the office ambiance or client amenities are not available in the provided information.

As a personal injury law firm, the core services offered by Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys would typically include representing clients in various types of injury cases. These can encompass auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, workplace injuries, and other situations where someone has suffered harm due to another party's fault. Their services would involve investigating the incident, gathering evidence, negotiating with insurance companies, and potentially litigating the case in court to seek compensation for their clients' injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

Features that might characterize Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys could include the experience of their attorneys in handling personal injury cases, their specific areas of expertise within personal injury law, and their approach to client communication and case management. Law firms often highlight their dedication to client advocacy, their understanding of the complexities of personal injury law, and their commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for their clients. However, without specific details on their website or promotional materials, it's challenging to definitively outline their unique features.

It is crucial for individuals seeking legal representation to consider feedback from past clients. The provided reviews offer significant insights into the experiences of those who have engaged with the firm, previously known under the name "lawfirm of Joel Kofsky." One detailed review from 2017, which the reviewer notes was reposted due to deletion, expresses strong dissatisfaction. The reviewer describes a "clear-cut" auto accident case with admitted fault and substantial injuries that allegedly did not progress smoothly or in a timely manner. The primary criticisms revolve around a "lack of and ineffective communication," with the client claiming infrequent contact initiated by the firm and delays in essential tasks such as obtaining the police report, contacting witnesses, and retrieving medical and wage loss documentation.

The reviewer further alleges being asked to perform tasks that they believed were the responsibility of the firm, given the fees involved. The experience is contrasted negatively with that of the reviewer's boyfriend, who had a more positive experience with a different personal injury lawyer in a seemingly more complex case. While acknowledging a fee reduction from Mr. Kofsky, the reviewer concludes with a strong recommendation against hiring the firm based on their overall negative experience with communication and case handling.

It is important to note that this is a single, albeit detailed, negative review. However, it raises significant concerns about the firm's communication practices and case management in at least one instance. Potential clients should weigh this feedback carefully alongside any other information they can gather about Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys.

A second, very brief review mentions "The Johnson law firm has helped me feel such relief & peace with my situation regarding my son. I would recommend Chris to anyone who has experienced or gone through difficult situations regarding custody and family matters." This review seems to refer to a different law firm or a different area of law (family law/custody matters) and may not be directly relevant to the services offered by Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys for personal injury cases. It is unclear why this review is included under the information for a personal injury firm.

Promotional information for Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys is not explicitly provided in the text. Typically, personal injury firms might promote their contingency fee arrangements (where they only get paid if they win the case), their experience and success rates in specific types of injury claims, and their commitment to providing personalized and aggressive representation for their clients. Without this information, it is difficult to comment on any specific promotions or unique selling points they might offer to potential clients using the "Lawyers Near Me" platform.

For local users in Philadelphia seeking a personal injury attorney through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys presents a physical presence in the city. However, the detailed negative review regarding communication and case handling is a significant factor that prospective clients should consider. It is strongly recommended that individuals considering this firm conduct further research, seek additional reviews or testimonials from other sources, and inquire specifically about their communication protocols and case management practices during an initial consultation. Engaging in a direct conversation with the firm can help potential clients assess whether their approach aligns with their expectations and needs in a personal injury case.

In conclusion, Philly Injury Lawyer - Personal Injury Attorneys is a Philadelphia-based firm specializing in personal injury law. While their location suggests accessibility for local residents, a detailed client review raises serious concerns about communication and case management. Potential clients should exercise due diligence, seek additional information, and carefully weigh all available feedback before deciding to engage their services for their personal injury claims.

Do not recommend at all, you never talk to your lawyer only the legal assistant. They get you by saying you can get this grand amount of money for you to only get pennies while they get their $6K fee for basically doing nothing. They do not fight for your rights they are only out to get paid.
