For individuals in Plano, Texas, and the surrounding regions seeking legal representation, particularly in the aftermath of an injury, firms operating within the "Lawyers Near Me" category offer a vital service. R. E. Lopez & Morales, located at 550 E 15th St Suite 200, Plano, TX 75074, USA, presents itself as a legal practice aiming to assist clients with their personal injury claims. When considering legal representation, it is imperative for local users to have a comprehensive understanding of the firm's purported offerings alongside direct client feedback.
The primary area of focus for R. E. Lopez & Morales appears to be personal injury law. This specialization means the firm is intended to handle cases where individuals have suffered harm due to the negligence or wrongdoing of another party. Typically, within personal injury, services include representation for various types of accidents such as car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, and wrongful death claims. Firms specializing in this area often aim to help clients recover damages for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other related losses. By concentrating on personal injury, a firm would typically develop expertise in navigating insurance claims, negotiating with adverse parties, and, if necessary, litigating cases in court to secure compensation for their injured clients.
Regarding the environment and client experience at R. E. Lopez & Morales, the provided client reviews offer a very critical perspective. These testimonials repeatedly highlight significant concerns, suggesting an environment where clients feel underserved and distrustful. Phrases such as "Horrible experience," "I do not recommend," and "THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT COMMUNICATION & VERY SECRETIVE" paint a picture of dissatisfaction. The allegation that the firm "get over on there clients" and is "VERY SNEAKY, NOT TRANSPARENT, CONNED me and everyone else injured in our vehicle out of thousands" indicates a severe breakdown in trust and perceived ethical conduct. The complaint of "absolutely no offer when the insurance company excepted liability!!!" and feeling that "you don’t care about your settlement amount or communicating with your actual attorney" suggests a lack of diligence and client engagement. This feedback, therefore, points to an environment that, for these specific clients, was frustrating, non-communicative, and ultimately detrimental to their legal outcomes. This stands in stark contrast to the expectations clients typically have for a professional legal service, which usually involves clear communication, transparency, and advocacy for their best interests.
The services, as perceived by the critical reviews, allegedly fell short of client expectations. While a personal injury firm generally aims to secure settlements or verdicts that adequately compensate clients for their injuries, the reviews explicitly state a lack of offers even when liability was accepted, and a perception of being "conned...out of thousands." This suggests that, in these instances, the firm's representation did not lead to satisfactory financial outcomes for the clients, or that the process of obtaining these outcomes was severely flawed. The core service of achieving a favorable settlement or judgment for personal injuries, as described by these clients, was either absent or severely compromised. The persistent complaint about a lack of communication and transparency directly impacts the perceived quality of service, as clients expect to be informed about the progress of their case and to have access to their legal counsel.
Key features, as derived from the negative reviews, paradoxically highlight what clients found problematic. The "lack of communication" and being "very secretive" are presented as prominent features of their operational style. The firm's alleged non-transparency regarding settlement amounts and overall case handling is another critical feature, from the perspective of these dissatisfied clients. The assertion that clients were "conned" out of thousands and that the firm "get over on there clients" indicates a perceived predatory or self-serving characteristic, rather than client advocacy. A "RED FLAG" was raised due to "absolutely no offer when the insurance company excepted liability," which suggests an unusual and potentially concerning feature of how cases were managed. These features, as reported, are highly detrimental to client trust and satisfaction.
As for promotional information, without access to the firm's direct marketing materials beyond the provided reviews, it is difficult to detail their self-promotional claims objectively. However, based on the general practices of firms in the "Lawyers Near Me" category specializing in personal injury, typical promotional efforts would likely emphasize:
In conclusion, R. E. Lopez & Morales, located in Plano, TX, operates within the "Lawyers Near Me" category, specializing in personal injury law. While the firm's stated purpose would typically be to assist injured clients in recovering damages, the provided client testimonials paint a consistently negative picture. These reviews allege severe deficiencies in communication, transparency, and case handling, with accusations of secretive practices, lack of offers despite admitted liability, and perceived financial exploitation. Prospective clients considering R. E. Lopez & Morales for personal injury matters should carefully weigh these strong negative reviews and conduct thorough due diligence, including seeking alternative opinions and thoroughly scrutinizing the firm's communication practices and fee structures, before engaging their services. The information available suggests a significant disparity between typical client expectations for legal representation and the experiences reported by these former clients.

May 22, 2025 · Big TskRude, won’t call me back, unprofessional and altogether unpleasant. I absolutely hate calling or dealing with them. The lawyer Mr Morales was pretty impressive, but the paralegals are god awful.
Feb 11, 2025 · Amanda ReynoldsI had a bad car accident. My uncle brought me to R. Lopez and Morales. They have been a big help and got me the maximum settlement I could get.
Feb 14, 2025 · Lord JaguarI do not recommend this place. My case took a long time, but that's not the issue. The issue is that I never once spoke with my attorney until the deposition was scheduled. When I arrived, he did not discuss my case or prepare me. Instead, he boasted about what a great lawyer he was and how, if needed, he would go to court with me, having already won many cases for this company. Closer to the settlement, just two days before, he handed my case to another attorney. She told me she had worked on my case for 24 hours and had read everything. She then advised me against going to court with them, stating she knew the company and that winning against them was impossible, although I never intended to go to court. The settlement was terrible, with many details overlooked. When I saw the attorney's fee of 40% for someone who spoke with me once in over three years and never returned my calls, I was shocked. When I asked him a question, he said I needed to call another client, no apologized then disappeared into another office and did not return to speak with me. This is unacceptable. He made it clear that my case was not important to him. Why did he take it then? Additionally, the doctor working with him billed twice under different names. When I asked about this, the office told me they were aware that it was the same doctor, but that other people were working under him. If you want to be neglected and disrespected as a client, turn to them—they will be happy to "help" you.
