Richard C. Kloak Introduce

Navigating the legal system can be a challenging and often intimidating experience, especially when personal freedom or significant life outcomes are at stake. For residents across Illinois, particularly in the vast metropolitan area of Chicago, choosing the right legal representation is a critical decision that requires careful consideration. When looking for a lawyer, individuals often seek someone with experience, a strong courtroom presence, and a clear understanding of their specific needs.

Richard C. Kloak is an attorney practicing in Chicago, Illinois. As with any legal professional, client experiences can vary, and it's important for prospective clients to consider all available information when making a choice. Reviews from past clients present a mixed perspective. One client describes Mr. Kloak as "one of the most experienced attorneys I've ever known, a straight dog in the court room, a real deal court room bully," emphasizing his assertive and effective presence. This client further states, "trust me when I say he's a real one, he helped me more than once, he even helped a lot of people I know." This review highlights a perception of a highly experienced and effective advocate, someone who is well-known within the legal community.

Conversely, another review offers a starkly different viewpoint, stating, "If I could give 0 stars I would. You got this lawyer run away and find new counsel. He doesn't research your case nor will he represent you correctly. He doesn't communicate with his clients, he misses court dates, he isn't receptive to clients suggesting cases that can potentially help nor does he do his own homework/investigation. He is a cop out lawyer and would rather convince you to take an offer than fight for your innocence." This review raises concerns about communication, diligence, and client advocacy.

This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Richard C. Kloak, acknowledging these differing perspectives to help local users in Illinois make an informed decision. We will delve into his location, services, and other pertinent information based on publicly available data.

Location and Accessibility

Richard C. Kloak's office is located in Chicago, Illinois, providing a presence within the large and diverse legal market of the city. His office can be found at 6914 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60707, USA. This address places the practice in a segment of Chicago that is accessible from various parts of the city and surrounding suburban areas.

North Avenue is a significant east-west thoroughfare in Chicago, which generally offers direct routes for those traveling by car. While specific parking details for this particular address are not provided, locations on major avenues in Chicago typically have a mix of street parking or nearby commercial lots, though availability can vary. The presence of the office in Chicago makes it a potentially convenient option for individuals within the metropolitan area who prefer a locally situated attorney.

For those relying on public transportation, North Avenue is typically serviced by CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) bus routes. Depending on the exact block, the office might also be within a reasonable distance of other public transit options, such as CTA 'L' train stations or Metra commuter rail lines. This widespread public transport network means that clients from various neighborhoods across Chicago and other Illinois communities could potentially access the office, underscoring its general accessibility within the urban landscape.

Services Offered

Based on the general nature of legal practices described by client reviews, particularly the mention of "court room" scenarios and discussions of "fighting for innocence" versus "taking an offer," it can be inferred that Richard C. Kloak likely offers services in areas related to litigation and potentially criminal defense. While specific practice areas are not explicitly listed in the provided information, the language used by reviewers points towards:

  • Criminal Defense: This would involve representing individuals accused of various criminal offenses, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. The review's mention of being a "court room bully" and "fighting for innocence" suggests engagement in trials and negotiations with prosecutors.

  • Trial Representation: The descriptions heavily emphasize courtroom presence ("straight dog in the court room," "real deal court room bully"), indicating that a significant portion of the practice involves representing clients in court during trials.

  • Negotiations and Plea Bargaining: The reference to a lawyer who "would rather convince you to take an offer than fight for your innocence" suggests that, like most criminal defense attorneys, the practice engages in plea negotiations with state attorneys to resolve cases.

  • General Litigation: Given the emphasis on court work, it's plausible that the practice also handles other forms of litigation beyond just criminal defense, although without further information, this remains an inference.

It is important for prospective clients to directly inquire about the specific types of cases Mr. Kloak handles and his experience in those areas to ensure alignment with their particular legal needs.

Features / Highlights

Considering the provided client reviews, several potential features and highlights emerge regarding Richard C. Kloak's practice, though it's crucial to acknowledge the contradictory nature of these points.

  • Experienced Courtroom Presence (As per one review): One client describes Mr. Kloak as "one of the most experienced attorneys I've ever known" and a "straight dog in the court room, a real deal court room bully." This highlights a perception of aggressive and effective advocacy in a trial setting, a quality often sought after in a litigator. This reviewer also implies a strong reputation among "judges and states attorneys."

  • Result-Oriented (As per one review): The positive review suggests that Mr. Kloak has "helped me more than once" and has helped "a lot of people I know," implying a history of achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

  • Problem-Solving Approach (As per one review): The phrase "when he's late it's part of his strategy or he knows he got it beat #facts" suggests a confident and strategic approach to cases, potentially employing tactics that might appear unconventional but lead to desired results from that client's perspective.

  • Local Knowledge of Chicago Courts/Legal Community: The mention that "all the judges and states attorneys knows him" implies a deep familiarity with the local legal landscape in Chicago, which can be an asset in navigating specific court procedures and personnel.

  • Potential for Communication Issues (As per another review): Conversely, one review states, "He doesn't communicate with his clients, he misses court dates." This highlights a significant concern regarding client communication and reliability, which are critical aspects of legal representation.

  • Concerns about Diligence/Investigation (As per another review): The negative review also claims he "doesn't research your case nor will he represent you correctly," and "nor does he do his own homework/investigation." These are serious allegations about the thoroughness of legal preparation.

It is important for prospective clients to weigh these diverse opinions and, if possible, seek further information or clarification during an initial consultation.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a legal professional, Richard C. Kloak does not publicly advertise promotions or special offers in the typical commercial sense. Legal services are tailored to individual cases, and fees are generally structured based on the complexity, time commitment, and type of legal issue involved.

For individuals in Illinois considering legal representation, the most appropriate step would be to directly contact Richard C. Kloak's office for a consultation. During this consultation, prospective clients can discuss their specific legal situation, inquire about the services relevant to their needs, and clarify questions regarding fees and payment structures. Transparency in this initial discussion is crucial for building a client-attorney relationship. Given the strong, yet contradictory, nature of the reviews, a direct conversation would be particularly beneficial for prospective clients to form their own informed opinion.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

For residents across Illinois, particularly those in the Chicago metropolitan area, the choice of a lawyer is a deeply personal one, especially in matters of significant legal consequence. Richard C. Kloak's office, located in Chicago, offers local accessibility for many within the urban and surrounding suburban areas, which can be a key factor for clients seeking convenient legal services.

The provided reviews offer very different insights into the practice. One perspective highlights a highly experienced, assertive, and effective "court room bully" who has achieved positive outcomes for multiple clients and is well-regarded within the local judicial system. For individuals seeking an aggressive advocate who is deeply familiar with Chicago's courts and known by judges and state's attorneys, this aspect could be highly appealing. This suggests a lawyer who is perceived by some as having a strategic and outcome-driven approach to legal challenges.

However, the contrasting review raises significant concerns about client communication, case diligence, and advocacy. This highlights the importance for prospective clients in Illinois to conduct thorough due diligence. It underscores that while one client may view certain behaviors as "strategy," another may perceive them as a lack of professional care. Ultimately, for locals, selecting legal counsel involves weighing various factors, and in this instance, directly engaging with the firm through a consultation to assess suitability for their specific needs, communication style, and expectations would be paramount before making a decision.

I was charged with a Class x (Drug Charge) and initially hired Mr Kloak for $500 he never showed up for court or filed any paperwork! After being released from custody I did research and read reviews I asked for a full refund! He is very unprofessional and it’s scary to think I put my fate and freedom in his hands. I sought an experienced law firm with special focus on my charges.
