Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your platform for connecting with legal professionals in your local area. This page provides an overview of Robert A. Gleaner, P.C., a law office located at 415 S White Horse Pike in Audubon, New Jersey. When seeking legal counsel, it's essential to gather comprehensive information to make an informed choice. This introduction aims to present an objective view of Robert A. Gleaner, P.C. based on publicly available customer reviews.
Robert A. Gleaner, P.C. operates from an office in Audubon, NJ, indicating a physical presence to serve clients in the local community. The positive review from a real estate agent suggests that the firm has experience working within the real estate industry. The agent specifically recommends Mr. Gleaner to their real estate clients, highlighting his understanding of the industry and his ability to guide clients through complications with "perfection." This positive feedback indicates a potential strength in real estate law and related matters.
However, another, more detailed review presents a significantly contrasting experience. This client hired Robert A. Gleaner, P.C. to assist with subdividing their property. Initially, the client reported that Mr. Gleaner expressed confidence in handling the job. However, the subsequent eight months were described as "excruciating," ultimately leading to an unsuccessful outcome. The core of the complaint revolves around alleged unpreparedness for a meeting with the township board. The client states that Mr. Gleaner lacked "definitive proof" to support their argument, which was described as an embarrassment. The client felt "tricked" by the initial confidence and perceived a lack of prudence in Mr. Gleaner's approach to presenting their case.
The negative review further details that Mr. Gleaner allegedly struggled with basic questions from the board, using a lack of foresight as an excuse. The client claims that they were charged increasingly for what they perceived as Mr. Gleaner's mistakes, suggesting that the process could have been resolved more efficiently with better preparation. Ultimately, the board denied the subdivision request even after a second meeting where Mr. Gleaner was reportedly more prepared. The client believes their "one shot" was missed due to inadequate legal assistance.
In a particularly critical part of the review, the client alleges that Mr. Gleaner shifted blame onto them for not conducting initial research or including a subdivision contingency in the property contract, which the client deemed unrealistic. The client also mentioned speaking with the township's zoning officer, who reportedly described Mr. Gleaner as "horrible" in the field of subdivision cases, further reinforcing the client's negative assessment and regret in not seeking a recommendation from the zoning officer initially.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive characterization of the services offered by Robert A. Gleaner, P.C. While the real estate agent's testimonial suggests competence and understanding within the real estate industry, the detailed negative review raises serious concerns about preparedness, strategic planning, communication, and accountability, particularly in the context of property subdivision.
For local users considering Robert A. Gleaner, P.C., it is crucial to weigh these differing perspectives carefully and conduct thorough due diligence. The positive recommendation from a real estate agent might indicate a specific strength in certain real estate transactions or advisory roles. However, the negative experience of a client attempting property subdivision highlights potential weaknesses or inconsistencies in service delivery, particularly in navigating complex regulatory processes and presenting compelling arguments to governing bodies.
To make an informed decision, potential clients should consider the following steps:
Robert A. Gleaner, P.C.'s location in Audubon, NJ, offers accessibility for local residents. However, the stark contrast in the available reviews underscores the importance of individual assessment and due diligence. The positive feedback regarding real estate guidance should be balanced against the serious allegations of unpreparedness and mishandling of a property subdivision case.
In conclusion, Robert A. Gleaner, P.C. presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews. While one real estate agent offers a positive recommendation, another client recounts a negative experience with a property subdivision case, citing significant issues with preparedness and outcome. Local users considering this law office should carefully weigh these perspectives, conduct thorough independent research, and directly engage with the firm to determine if their services align with their specific legal needs and expectations. Lawyers Near Me encourages users to prioritize comprehensive evaluation to ensure they choose legal representation that inspires confidence and demonstrates a strong track record in the relevant area of law.

Mar 13, 2025 · Marie Elaina KillianA huge regret of mine is hiring Rob. When I initially called him asking to subdivide my property he was confident and said he can handle the job with no problems. 8 excruciating months of working with him later he could not have been more wrong. When we were finally able to schedule a meeting with the township board the first time, Rob was sorely unprepared. He had zero definitive proof of the basis of his argument (for us to convince the board). A PRUDENT lawyer would back up his claims with facts and proofs but he had none. It was an embarrassment to watch first hand and then I knew I had made a mistake and was tricked by his initial false confidence. The board asked some other trivial questions a prudent lawyer could answer but Rob had nothing. He used the excuse of not being able to "foresee" what the board would ask but they were asking basic questions. It was like it was his first time in front of the board. He had no problem charging us more and more for his mistakes when it could have been a yes from the board the first meeting. At the second meeting when Rob was finally prepared the board ended up saying no. We had one shot and the legal help we hired blew it. Instead of taking blame, Rob blamed us for not doing initial research, not putting in the contract a contingency for a subdivision. No seller would have ever accepted that offer. We had a really good chance the first time but since Rob and our planner were not prepared for the questions it costed us 8 months and tens of thousands of dollars. What further confirmed my belief that Rob is terrible in this field is when I spoke to the townships zoning officer. She has had meetings with many, many lawyers and had many subdivision cases and she even said Rob was horrible. My biggest mistake was not going to her originally and getting a recommendation from her. Learn from my story and don't make the same mistake I have made.
Sep 10, 2024 · Dave PBe aware of this horrible attorney. Because of his lousy and unprofessional work he lost me $100K He doesn't have the correct knowledge and comes unprepared in front of the township board. I hired him originally because he was confident he would be able to win my case but it was all a LIE. He only cares about how much money he can grab from your pocket, while he took all of mine and wasted 8 months of time. Do yourself a favor and stay away from him!! *1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience with Robert Gleaner I hired Robert Gleaner to handle my subdivision case, but unfortunately, their representation fell short. Despite my clear instructions and expectations, they failed to deliver. *Key Issues:* - Lack of communication: I was often left in the dark about case developments. He did some research without my consent about similar cases which I paid for but the lawyer representing Bord rejected!!!!! - Inadequate preparation: Robert Gleaner seemed unprepared for critical hearings. He was unable to answer basic questions: how many plots of land does the house stand on? - Failure to address key issues: Crucial points were missed, leading to an unfavorable outcome. *Result:* We lost the case, and I was left with significant financial losses and a delayed project. *Disappointing Aspects:* - Robert Gleaner didn't seem to understand the intricacies of subdivision law. - Overpromised and underdelivered. *Advice to Others:* Exercise caution when choosing Robert Gleaner for complex real estate cases. Research thoroughly and consider alternative options. *Would Not Recommend.*!!!!!!!!
Sep 18, 2024 · Jozef PiekaraWe contacted Rob about a tenant that was particularly difficult and was improperly withholding months of rent. He handled the eviction process and was able to get us a judgement for all rent owed, late fees and legal fees. He and his team are now working with the tenant to assure no future issues. I would highly recommend.
May 08, 2024 · Kevin DowellI contacted Rob Gleaner at the recommendation of a friend to handle my mothers estate when she passed in 2018. SO GLAD I MADE THE CALL. Rob is a PRO. Knowledgeable, confident but not arrogant. Listens to you and REALLY works to do what is best for his client. You don't feel like a client . It's almost like talking with a real good neighbor. I purposely watched him at settlement. He was friendly , but make no mistake he controlled the proceeding almost without anyone else knowing it. I tend to like quiet confidence and that what Rob has. Had him do my wills and he is now handling other matters for us. I have and do recommend him to represent you.
