Was referred to this firm by my mom’s ex fiance (Quentin Sturm, another lawyer) after a serious accident. Quick note Quentin’s son did time in Montco County Jail for possession of sexually explicit images of children) (should have been my red flag right there but didn’t become aware of this sickening information until after the fact) The amount we settled for was an absolute joke, not even close to being fairly compensated for the damages incurred. I felt rushed through the process and felt my hand was forced when time came to settle. It pains me to think about how much more money could have been gathered; the long term effects and health issues I’ve had to deal with from my accident were not even close to a fair trade off for the amount we got back I first started working with Greg, that’s who I met at first and he got the process started. Was enthusiastic and responsive at first (my mom’s ex fiance who was also a lawyer recommended Greg) Fast forward two years: my mom’s ex fiance breaks things off with my mom, and magically I never hear from Greg again! What a coincidence right?! At that point I am passed off to his associate, Kevin, who was very nice and helpful (but we had never even met or been introduced); ultimately at that point they were just pushing to get the deal settled and get me off of their plate/queue There was even a point in time where I provided a tentative verbal commitment on an offer, but after I thought it through for a day or so I concluded I wasn’t ready to accept. Kevin refused to take no for an answer from me, said that my verbal commitment on the phone acted as a binding agreement. Pressured me into accepting when I wasn’t ready. What a great lawyer right? Beyond underwhelmed by my experience with this firm, I’d only recommend them if you are looking for the lowest amount of financial return and attention to detail on the case as possible. I’ll think about my settlement randomly here & there and it makes me feel sick to my stomach Hope Greg reads this (he won’t given my experience with his attention to detail) because you all truly dropped the ball on this one. I should take you guys to court for negligence on my case, I couldn’t even imagine doing my own job so poorly, what an absolute joke of a law firm. I’ll send an invoice over for the $50k you owe me 🫡
When seeking legal representation following an accident, individuals understandably look for a law firm that is both effective in achieving fair compensation and provides supportive and communicative service. Smith Mirabella Blake LLC, located at 100 N 20th St #303, Philadelphia, PA 19103, USA, is listed under the "Lawyers Near Me" category. However, reviews from past clients raise significant concerns regarding their handling of at least one personal injury case, particularly concerning settlement amounts, communication, and perceived pressure to settle.
Information regarding the physical environment of Smith Mirabella Blake LLC is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a law office in a professional building would offer a reception area for clients, private consultation rooms for meetings with attorneys, and administrative spaces for staff to manage cases. The aim is usually to create an environment that fosters trust and professionalism. However, the client experiences described in the reviews focus more on the interactions with the attorneys and the outcomes of their legal representation rather than the physical office itself.
Based on the context of the reviews, Smith Mirabella Blake LLC appears to handle personal injury cases. One client explicitly mentions being referred to the firm after a "serious accident." The services in such cases typically involve investigating the accident, gathering evidence, negotiating with insurance companies, and potentially litigating the case to achieve a settlement or judgment that compensates the client for their damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
However, the core of the feedback revolves around significant issues encountered by at least one client during their personal injury claim. These issues highlight several potential features that prospective clients might want to consider:
Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the provided reviews, there is no positive promotional information to extract. In fact, the feedback serves as a strong caution for potential clients considering Smith Mirabella Blake LLC, particularly for personal injury cases. The experiences described suggest potential issues with achieving fair settlements, maintaining consistent communication, and respecting client autonomy in decision-making.
For local users in Philadelphia searching for a "Lawyer Near Me," the location of Smith Mirabella Blake LLC on North 20th Street might make them a geographically convenient option. However, the serious concerns raised in the customer reviews regarding their handling of a personal injury case should be carefully considered. The feedback points to potential issues with the level of compensation achieved, the client experience during the process, and the firm's communication and respect for client decisions. Prospective clients are strongly advised to weigh these negative experiences heavily and consider seeking legal representation elsewhere to ensure their interests are adequately protected and they receive the fair compensation they deserve following an accident. It would be prudent to seek law firms with a more consistently positive track record and a demonstrated commitment to client communication and satisfaction.

Jan 11, 2025 · Pete HayesHired Greg Smith and at first he was enthusiastic but that soon dwindled. If I had questions I would call but soon learned my questions were not important. If something positive happens to my case I will come back and do another review. Very sad. Don't use this firm.
