In my experience, I don’t feel as though this firm did a great job representing me. At the end of my case during negotiations with the opposition, I refused to take a lesser amount in which my attorney recommended I take. I countered back an amount which was agreed on. My counter was 2.5 times the amount my attorney recommended I take. Also I asked about getting unemployment while I was out of work during the case, my attorney advised against filing for unemployment. During negotiations with the opposition, my attorney advised me that I should be able to get back pay from the unemployment office for the 7 months I was out of work. I contacted the unemployment office and they told me that the unemployment office does not pay back pay. That was frustrating to hear being that I took the advice from an employment attorney and lost 7 months of unemployment which I was rightfully owed.
