Lawyer was 30 mins late to the court house, did not contact group I was in touch with despite my requests to become knowledgeable in the case. Even my small request was denied. My hired lawyer informed me of the judge decision then argued with me about my requests even though he knew what I was fighting for Spend your money elsewhere. Other than reminding my ex to make payments on time not much was resolved and my daughter and I are out $2700

Mr. Underwood is also a pleasure to deal with; he is friendly, kind, personable and you can sense from how he communicates with you that he really cares about your well being and doesn't trust treat you as a "another case". Mr Underwood is also very very patient. Even as a busy lawyer, he took time to answer ALL my questions and hear me out, and made me feel like every question was very important to him. He is also easy to reach amidst his busy schedule. If he misses your call, he will make sure to call you back same day, even if that means playing excessive phone tag. I am very thankful to Mr. Underwood in his help with settling my wife's case. We went through a lot of trauma after her accident and Mr. Underwood professionalism, positive attitude and ultimately the great settlement he got us was a beacon of light to our struggles.

That is so true but the exception to that joke is John Underwood from Underwood & Micklin. I unfortunately had a case from personal injury and I chose him as my lawyer from a friend who had used him in the past. Besides his skills as a lawyer ( to which I believe he went above & beyond), getting me the best settlement possible. Mr. Underwood took my disability seriously and was extremely respectful when it came to my perspective and ideas. Whether it was an email, text or phone call, he returned all of them promptly and treated me with the kindness you don't expect in business these days. I would recommend him 100%.
