I would highly recommend using a different firm for an injury case. It doesn't seem like they really want to fight for you, they just want the easy buck. The employees and attorney will most likely not respond to emails or calls for weeks at a time which in my book is highly unacceptable. Before knowing how the firm was, I had a friend also sign on as a client that had the same experiences. I felt like I was in the dark about everything from start to finish.
For local users in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas seeking legal representation through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, we present van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim, located at 1219 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, USA. This firm has a physical presence in a residential area of Center City Philadelphia. However, the limited and contrasting client feedback available online suggests a varied experience for those who have engaged their services.
The location on Spruce Street in Philadelphia places van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim in a part of the city that mixes residential and commercial properties. This could imply a more intimate or neighborhood-focused office environment compared to firms located in the central business district. However, without specific descriptions, it is difficult to ascertain the exact nature of their office setting.
The available client reviews present a dichotomy of experiences. One client strongly advises potential clients seeking representation for an injury case to "highly recommend using a different firm." This negative feedback suggests a significant level of dissatisfaction with the service received. The client expresses concern that the firm may prioritize quick settlements ("easy buck") over vigorously fighting for their clients' best interests. Furthermore, a critical point of concern raised is the alleged lack of responsiveness from employees and the attorney, with emails and calls reportedly going unanswered for weeks at a time. This level of communication breakdown is described as "highly unacceptable" by the reviewer. The negative experience was seemingly shared by a friend of the reviewer who also signed on as a client, indicating a potentially systemic issue.
The same negative review conveys a feeling of being kept "in the dark about everything from start to finish" regarding their case. This lack of transparency and communication can lead to significant client anxiety and a lack of confidence in their legal representation. For local users seeking an attorney who will keep them informed and actively involved in their case, this review raises serious concerns about van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim.
In stark contrast to the negative feedback, another client offers overwhelmingly positive comments specifically about Attorney Andres Jalon and Paralegal Orobosa Enagbare. This review highlights a "phenomenal team" that instilled confidence in the client from an initial 15-minute consultation regarding a "personal matter." This suggests that the firm may handle a range of legal issues beyond just injury cases, and that specific individuals within the firm may provide exceptional service.
The positive reviewer emphasizes the "constant communication" provided by Attorney Jalon and Paralegal Enagbare, even extending to a Sunday night of a holiday weekend. This level of dedication and responsiveness directly contradicts the negative feedback regarding communication. The client states they "would hire them in a heartbeat," indicating a high degree of satisfaction and trust in this particular legal team within the firm.
Based on these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive overview of the services and features of van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim as a whole. It appears that the experience may vary significantly depending on the specific attorney and staff member a client works with. However, we can note the following potential services based on the limited information:
Features that emerge from the reviews, both positive and negative, include:
Given the conflicting feedback, local users considering van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. If contacting the firm, it would be prudent to specifically inquire about the attorney and paralegal who would be handling their case and to seek references or further testimonials related to that specific team.
In terms of promotional information, the positive review focusing on Attorney Jalon and Paralegal Enagbare could serve as a potential draw for clients seeking responsive and dedicated representation. However, the negative review acts as a significant counterpoint that should not be ignored. The firm's website or direct communication would be necessary to obtain a comprehensive understanding of their services, attorney profiles, and overall client service philosophy.
For local users on the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim presents a complex picture based on the limited online feedback. While one client experienced significant dissatisfaction, another reported an exceptional experience with a specific legal team within the firm. Therefore, it is crucial for potential clients to conduct their own investigation and directly engage with the firm to determine if their specific needs and expectations can be met. Contacting the firm at (215) 585-2837 or +1 215-585-2837 would be a necessary step in this process.
In conclusion, van der Veen, Hartshorn, Levin & Lindheim is a law firm located in Philadelphia with at least some experience in personal injury cases and representation in personal matters. The client feedback is contradictory, with one review expressing serious concerns about responsiveness and client care, while another praises a specific attorney-paralegal team for their exceptional service and communication. Local users should carefully consider these contrasting experiences and conduct thorough inquiries before deciding to engage this firm for their legal needs.

Apr 22, 2025 · Chris BordenAttorney Andres Jalon and Paralegal Orobosa Enagbare make a phenomenal team. I consulted with Andres for about 15 minutes about a personal matter and that is all it took to know that I had the right guy to get me the best results. Between Him and Orobosa, the communication was constant (even on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend). I would hire them in a heartbeat.
Apr 21, 2025 · james graberI would like to thank Adam Leasure for his assistance in getting my “not guilty” in Traffic Court. From my initial phone call to the verdict Adam kept me informed about the process and made me feel comfortable that he was the guy I needed to get this traffic nightmare over with. Absolutely would not hesitate to hire them/ again for future needs should they arise. Thank you Adam!
Mar 31, 2025 · wil BrownAbigail Gustafson thoroughly reviewed all the evidence in my case and prepared an exceptional strategy that ultimately led to my victory in court. Her preparation was remarkable. I am very grateful to Abigail and Orobosa, her paralegal, for their unwavering support throughout my case. They both have shown exceptional commitment.
Mar 12, 2025 · Eddie AmbrosanoFrom the moment I retained Kaitlin McCaffrey, she is fast, efficient, and incredibly professional. She was able to get a replevin filed within 24hrs and secured an emergency injunction in less than a week—What truly stood out to me was how she recognized the deep personal importance of my dog, even though the law classifies pets as property. She didn’t just treat this as another case; she understood the urgency and emotional weight behind it. On top of her efficiency, Ms. McCaffrey has been communicative, responsive, and genuinely great to work with. She keeps me informed, listens to my concerns, and explains everything clearly. If you need an attorney who will take action quickly and fight for you, she is absolutely the one to call. I can’t thank Kaitlin enough already, I’m very thankful to have found this firm before litigation started. The way they have treated me and my case has been impeccable. To be in such a devastating place in my life and as vulnerable as I feel, the last thing you need when you are going through a crisis/lawsuit is an ineffective attorney who will run the clock for money. That is absolutely the opposite impression this firm has given me. They truly understand they have the power to make a difference and they take it. I’m very excited to go into trial with Ms. McCaffrey, I genuinely feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders with her on my case. I absolutely recommend.
