Over a decade ago my best friend from childhood, Virginia T., was going through a horrific divorce from her husband of 32 years. Her husband was Gus T. The attourney representing her husband was Kirby Wells. Stan W. was Virginia's first of a few attourney's she ultimately hired. Stan W. had previously represented a mutual friend of Virginia and Gus. This mutual friend was Tom S. When Virginia's marriage was falling apart Tom S. said he would help her and referred her to Stan. I was in Stan's office the day Virginia turned over a video of Gus trying to poison her. Stan played the video and as we watched it he said that he was sure criminal charges would be filed soon. He then put it in his desk and said it would be evidence for the court. This was the one and only copy. Stan was to soon say that the video never existed. He was promptly fired. We found out too late that Tom was working for Gus to do Gus's dirty work. I also spoke of this video evidence in the deposition that Kirby took from me that was never presented to the court either. An attempt was made on my life soon following this when a bullet was fired at me, missing me thank God, while I was home one night, by someone hiding in my back yard. The police were called and a report was made. I found out several months later that Tom S. had ordered the person who fired the shot to do it. It was someone that worked for him and they had met while both were serving time in Federal prison. Not much later Tom S. was found dead in his bathtub. I drove to the funeral home to make sure it was him after reading about it in the obituaries. It was. Standing outside the funeral home was Stan. W. the "friend" and attourney of Tom. I read in the local paper that Stan was later arrested for embezzling over 4 million dollars from a trust he held for Tom that was suppose to go to Tom'S wife and children. Stan was also later arrested and sent to prison for a mortgage scheme frand conviction. Gus had a full gaming licence and was worth millions also. He and Virginia had built a gaming and restaurant business together over the 32 years of marriage. Kirby managed to get away with stealing money from Virginia and followed through on his threat that he would make sure she ended up with absolutely nothing. Kirby tried to intimidate me whenever he could with vulgar remarks. What a creep. My husband and I along with other friends of Virginia's made sure we were at every court date with her. The Judge was Lisa B. and if there is a worse judge out there I don't know who. Virginia and I heard the news a few months ago that Gus had died after years of substance abuse and alcoholism. Virginia is a happy, thriving woman today. Every word of this review is true, so if you are someone with alot of money, that wants an evil corrupt attorney with dirty hands, that will do his best to destroy whoever you are up against in court than Kirby is your guy. There is a hot seat in hell waiting for him...right next to Gus and Tom.

The detailed allegations of unprofessional conduct, unethical behavior, intimidation, and highly unfavorable client outcomes, including claims of "stealing money" and causing a client to "end up with absolutely nothing," fundamentally contradict the qualities a local would seek in a trusted legal advisor. The direct client sentiment, wishing a lawyer involved "a hot seat in hell" and stating he "managed to get away with stealing money," along with another client "losing my son to his corrupt father" while working with this firm, paint a picture of profound dissatisfaction and alleged serious legal and ethical breaches.
Therefore, while the firm has a physical presence in Las Vegas and appears to have handled family law cases, the public record, as provided, offers compelling reasons for residents of Nevada to exercise significant due diligence. It is paramount that locals prioritize legal professionals who demonstrate consistent ethical conduct, transparent practices, and a verifiable history of achieving positive client outcomes, none of which are evident in the provided reviews for Wells & Rawlings.
