Closing attorney was efficient and timely. This office is ran like a tight ship. They're friendly and courteous while getting the job done. At close it was my client that was actually late, but the attorneys and staff quickly assessed the situation and switch things around so that no party was made to wait more than 15 minutes. I appreciate your diligence and hard work. All paperwork was there and ready days before the actual closing. They have become my preferred closing attorney. Thank you guys!!

Wessels & Dixon, P.C. Introduce

When engaging in legal transactions, especially those involving real estate, finding a competent and trustworthy legal team is crucial. Wessels & Dixon, P.C., located at 175 Corporate Center Dr, Stockbridge, GA 30281, serves the local community as a provider of legal services. As a law firm situated within the community, they fall under the category of "Lawyers Near Me," offering legal services to those in the vicinity. Their office can be contacted by phone at (678) 759-2211 or via their mobile number, +1 678-759-2211, for inquiries regarding legal services.

Based on the available client feedback, the experiences with Wessels & Dixon, P.C. appear to be quite varied, presenting a complex picture for potential clients. One reviewer described a positive experience with the closing attorney, noting their efficiency and timeliness. This reviewer also praised the office for being well-organized ("ran like a tight ship") and for the friendly and courteous staff who are effective at their jobs. They specifically appreciated the firm's ability to handle a client's tardiness at closing by quickly adjusting the schedule to minimize inconvenience for all parties involved. This positive review also highlighted the preparedness of paperwork well in advance of the closing and led the reviewer to designate Wessels & Dixon, P.C. as their preferred closing attorney.

However, the other two reviews present serious and concerning allegations. One reviewer accused the firm's paralegal of unethical and potentially illegal behavior, claiming that the paralegal, without the client's knowledge or permission, accessed privileged information (an old judgment against the client), contacted the attorney holding that judgment, shared the client's personal information and email correspondence, and that this resulted in the loss of a significant piece of property from the client's father's estate and a lien being placed on the father's house. This reviewer expressed extreme dissatisfaction, stating that their credit and life had been destroyed as a result of these actions.

The third review echoed concerns about the firm's handling of closing funds, alleging that they "dig up debts that you dont owe and take money out of your closing funds" based on a mere claim, without requiring proof of the debt. This reviewer also expressed extreme negativity towards the firm.

Given these starkly contrasting experiences, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment, services, and features of Wessels & Dixon, P.C. While one client experienced efficiency and professionalism in a real estate closing, the other two reviews raise very serious ethical and procedural concerns. The services offered likely include real estate closings, as indicated by the positive review, and potentially other legal services depending on the expertise of the attorneys at the firm. However, the allegations of unauthorized disclosure of client information and the handling of debts during closing raise significant questions about the firm's practices and client confidentiality.

The features of Wessels & Dixon, P.C., as perceived through the limited and conflicting reviews, are difficult to ascertain definitively. The positive review suggests efficiency, timeliness, a well-organized office, and friendly staff in the context of real estate closings. However, the negative reviews allege serious breaches of client confidentiality, unethical conduct by a paralegal, and questionable practices regarding the handling of debts during closings. These allegations, if accurate, would represent significant negative features and raise serious concerns about the firm's integrity and client care.

There is no promotional information provided in the available data. Potential clients would need to weigh the positive feedback regarding efficient closings against the very serious allegations of unethical and harmful conduct. The extreme negativity expressed in two of the three reviews should give prospective clients significant pause and necessitate thorough due diligence.

For local users in Stockbridge, GA, searching for "Lawyers Near Me," Wessels & Dixon, P.C. is a geographically relevant option. However, the dramatically contrasting client experiences present a high degree of risk for potential clients. While one reviewer had a positive closing experience, the serious allegations of unethical behavior, breach of client privilege, and questionable handling of closing funds in the other reviews cannot be ignored. Local users considering Wessels & Dixon, P.C. should proceed with extreme caution and conduct very thorough research, including seeking additional reviews and potentially consulting with other legal professionals before making any decisions.

The allegations of a paralegal accessing and sharing privileged client information without consent are particularly गंभीर and could have severe legal and ethical implications. If these allegations are accurate, they represent a significant breach of trust and professional conduct. Similarly, the claim that the firm takes money out of closing funds for debts without proper verification is also highly concerning and could indicate a lack of due process or potential mishandling of client funds. These are not minor issues and should be treated with the utmost seriousness by anyone considering this firm's services.

In conclusion, Wessels & Dixon, P.C. in Stockbridge, GA, offers legal services, including real estate closings. However, the available client reviews present a deeply divided perspective. While one client reported a positive and efficient closing experience, two other reviews contain very serious allegations of unethical conduct, breach of client privilege, and questionable financial practices. Local users searching for "Lawyers Near Me" are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and carefully consider the significant risks highlighted in the negative reviews before engaging the services of Wessels & Dixon, P.C.

His paralegal dug up an old judgement against me that I didnt know about and contacted the attorney holding that judgement without my knowledge or permission, gave him all my information and then furnished him with all the emails between us. This was all client privileged information. It resulted in the attorney stealing a 3/4 of a million dollar piece of property from my Dads estate that didnt belong to me and putting a lien on my Dad's house to satisfy a much smaller judgement against me. It has destroyed my credit and life. Im 60 years old and disabled. In a closing, they will dig up debts that you dont owe and take money out of your closing funds. You dont have to do anything but make a claim and the will pay without question. If i could give them a few thousand negative stars I would.

Would give zero stars if it was an option. The most unprofessional closing attorney. They admitting to have received certain documentation but stood fast that even though it was their fault they would not offer solutions to the problem. Instead the attorney left the room to return only to hurl insults and the storm back out. Really. Worst experience ever. Must have received their law degree via correspondence course.
