Services Offered
While the provided review highlights Shane Perry's assistance with "legal needs on both personal and professional matters," a general practice firm like Williams & Perry Attorneys At Law often handles a variety of legal issues. Given the client's broad description, we can infer a comprehensive range of services. Here's a list of the types of services such a firm typically offers:
General Civil Litigation: Representing clients in various non-criminal disputes, which could include contract disputes, property disputes, and general legal disagreements between parties.
Business Law: Assisting businesses with their legal needs, from formation and contracts to transactions and dispute resolution. This aligns with the mention of "professional matters."
Real Estate Law: Handling matters related to property, such as purchases, sales, disputes, and landlord-tenant issues.
Estate Planning: Guiding clients through the creation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other documents to plan for their future and protect their assets. This falls under "personal matters."
Family Law: While not explicitly mentioned, many general practice firms offer services in divorce, child custody, child support, and other family-related legal issues, which would also be considered "personal matters."
Personal Injury: Representing individuals who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others, seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
Traffic Violations & Criminal Defense (Minor): While not their primary highlighted expertise, many local firms handle traffic tickets and minor criminal charges for their community members.
Contract Review and Drafting: Assisting individuals and businesses with legal agreements to ensure their interests are protected.
It's important to note one review which expressed a negative experience regarding a credit dispute, stating the attorney was "rude and abrupt" and seemingly "uninformed about fair credit act laws." This suggests that while they cover a broad range of legal needs, specific niche areas like credit disputes might not be their core focus or area of deepest expertise.

Local and Approachable: A significant highlight is their accessibility and friendly nature, contrasting with larger, more impersonal firms. Direct Communication: Unlike some larger firms that require online forms before direct contact, Williams & Perry's approach allows clients to speak with someone directly, fostering immediate connection and support.
It is important for prospective clients to consider all feedback, including the negative review regarding a credit dispute. This suggests that while the firm excels in many areas, specific highly specialized niches may not be their strongest suit, and it's always wise to confirm their expertise for your particular legal need.
Promotions or Special Offers
Law firms typically do not offer traditional "promotions" in the commercial sense. However, they provide services and client-focused practices that are highly beneficial and can be seen as inherent "offers." For Williams & Perry Attorneys At Law, based on the provided reviews, these valuable aspects include:

Dec 20, 2024 · E MI received a call back from a female attorney that was rude and abrupt. She was snide and asked me what kind of credit dispute am I talking about. So I proceeded to explain what was happening on all three bureau of my credit one example I gave her is that dates opened are not accurate across my three bureaus as an example one opening May date and another opening in August date and she told me as long as the dates were within that same year there’s nothing I could do about it. Then I gave her the amounts are in accurate across all three bureaus on charged off credit cards that I have and she told me that there’s nothing I can do about that. She made a statement I quote “ so obviously these are cards that you never paid back”. Either She did not want to help me or she is uninformed about fair credit act laws if you’re thinking about utilizing this firm don’t.
Jan 14, 2025 · Desiree PWe are very grateful for the excellent care and service we have received from Danielle and Kimberly with Collum and Perry. Although we had numerous fears with our situation due to unexpected job loss, the staff of Collum and Perry eased our fears, clearly explained all of our options, and helped us come up with a game plan to deal with our situation. The staff was extremely professional, courteous, listened to all of our concerns and responded promptly with additional communication as needed. They gave us hope when we thought our situation was hopeless. We highly recommend this firm. Many thanks for a job well done!
Jun 08, 2015 · Chris GilesDO NOT USE COLLUM & PERRY, LLC., Mooresville, NC. Stacey Williams, Lawyer at firm, sat on my disability case for two years, She did zero work on file. Years and months later, she called me up and verbally lied to me saying, they are "moving away from disability," which I found out was/is not true. She then referred me to another law firm, who saw she did nothing and could not take my case because in my particular situation you can't back-track two years of work Stacey did not do. I FINALLY received a call from Social Security Disability with my court date. I had to withdraw my case. I called Mr. Collum, Partner at Collum & Perry, to complain about Stacey and he refused to talk to me. After looking at all these reviews, from a 1 star to a 5 star (the 5 stars makes me wonder if the law firm had their own people write reviews after seeing my husband's review), just know that it is a 50/50 shot with getting horrible representation to great representation. What I have written here is accurate and true. Stacey ruined my chances at getting any disability after two years of waiting for my court date and the partners did not even care. Do you want to take that chance with whatever you are going through? These people have zero morals and do not care. I would not put it past them to try to cover up my bad review with having their own people write good reviews. I never want anybody to go through what I went through with them. Never.
Jul 23, 2022 · Kris CI do not recommend them to anyone either. I was assigned to Danielle in their bankruptcy office just when she started, even though Shane Perry was recommended, and that was the reason I went to him. She was the worst in responding to inquiries. I would email her and not hear for months. When I had had enough, I contacted Shane who didn't respond either, until I threatened to file a grievance with the Bar. Guess what, immediate reply! His response to me was "you shouldn't say things like that!" He begrudgingly listened to my concerns, said he would talk to Danielle then get back to me. Guess what......he didn't have the balls to get back with me. Instead I got a detailed timeline from Danielle about her "diligence, contact and responses" that she spent more time on then following up on what I needed and requested her to do. Horrible business people..........
