I recently engaged Collins Law Group to set up a trust for my nearly 80-year-old mother, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We were drawn to Collins because they are female-owned, and I hoped to provide my very detail-oriented mother with a positive experience. However, we were disappointed with both the legal customer service and the final product. The trust documents we received were confusing and difficult to navigate. When we sought clarification and a checklist to ensure we had covered all our bases, getting clear answers proved impossible. This lack of support was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, while we understand the importance of timely payments, Collins Law Group gave us less than two days to review invoices before charging my mother's credit card. This felt rushed and inconsiderate. To add to our disappointment, Collins Law Group was unable to provide witnesses for the trust signing, forcing my mother to bring a friend to fulfill this requirement. If you are looking for compassionate and supportive Elder Law services, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We worked with Christine Houston at Collins Law firm and paralegal Anna Skaggs and had a great experience! We called them in an emergency custody situation and they jumped onboard right away. They guided us through every aspect, from collecting info, preparing for hearings, continuations, what to expect. Christine was very calm, cool and collected, which kept discussions with her and the hearings themselves very comfortable and less anxious. She was also very professional but very personable. If we have any further issues, we will definitely be reaching out to Collins Law Firm, even though Ms Houston is no longer with them.

The team at Collins Family Law are true professionals. They genuinely care. You are treated with respect and compassion. I can't say enough about them, from Amy to Mamie to Attorney Lockerman. They were very prompt and clear with communication and advice. Also very transparent in everything they said and wrote to us, no surprises. Knowledgable team of lawyers, Attorney Lockerman knows here stuff. We highly recommend their services. Thank you ! Michael & Kathleen

I worked with Christine Houston on a family matter. She did a great job at listening to the particulars of the case, provided realistic options, was honest about likelihood of various outcomes, and provided professional recommendations about next steps. She never made me feel like litigation was the only option but, instead, urged for things to be settled without involvement of legal counsel. Once all options were exhausted and we realized that retaining a lawyer was the only path forward, Christine was there every step of the way. She made me feel like I was her only client. She was very responsive, open to suggestions, always remained patient with my questions, and was timely in her follow-up. An overall great experience!
